Kudos to those who speak their mind, fearlessly! Things don’t change unless you speak it all out, but it also important to speak well and wisely. And one of the self-made superstars of the country, Kangana Ranaut is known to share her honest opinions and speak her heart out. While this quality of hers is widely appreciated by all, but speaking about anything and everything about the tinsel town has also created many a problems for Bollywood’s Manikarnika. During one of the success parties for her latest film, Kangana Ranaut had lashed out at Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, where she had shared, “I was watching Ranveer and Alia's interview where they said, 'Why should we speak about politics? We haven't done anything.' It doesn't work like that. You have to be responsible. Ranbir Kapoor was telling somebody, 'Mere ghar mei toh bijli, paani aata hai (My house gets electricity and water). Why should I (care about) politics?' You have this house because of this country. It's the money of the citizens with which you buy a Mercedes. How can you talk like that? This is irresponsible.”
When Alia Bhatt was asked about Kangana Ranaut’s remarks, she had a very wise answer, “I definitely don’t have the ability to speak as candidly as Kangana does and I really really respect her for that. And maybe in a way she is right that sometimes we do hold back. Kyunki hum nahi chahte ke, khamakha kyun bolna... My dad always says that there are already so many opinions in the world that the world could do with one less opinion. So, I have an opinion but I will keep it to myself. But kudos to her because she genuinely speaks really well”.
And once again, in an interview with Mid-Day, Kangana Ranaut took a dig at Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. As per the interview, the Gangster actress finds it ‘unfair’ that Alia and Ranbir are counted as one of the ‘young actors’. Talking about her concern, Kangana shared, “I do only that when I am rubbed the wrong way. And what is this thing of calling them young... Ranbir Kapoor is, what, 37 years old, young kid of the generation and Alia Bhatt just turned 27... my mother had three children at 27. This is absolutely unfair... bachche hai, ki dumb hai ki kya hai..."

Kangana Ranaut also stated in the same interview that actors these days are fine with talking about their s*x life on camera, but not about the country and politics. She was quoted as saying, “If we are asking about your s*x life, that you are okay to discuss, put the pictures on Instagram, who I am f***ing, who I am not f***ing, that is fine; but about the country, 'it’s my personal choice'." Kangana Ranaut further lashed out at ‘Karan Johar and his gang’ and shared that they are least-bothered about the country. The 32-year-old actress was quoted as saying, “These are people who feel absolutely exclusive, saying one has nothing to do with the rest of India. This is the kind of attitude that Karan Johar and gang thrive on. And a lot of negative PR about me has been happening from these people. Maybe you don’t know, but I know who gives out news [about me]. That’s why whenever I do something; it is to put them in their place.”
In February 2019, soon after the release of the Manikarnika, a video from one of the shooting sequence of the film had gone viral on the internet. The video had Kangana Ranaut shoot an action sequence on a mechanical horse and this created way for hilarious memes, where people mocked her by calling her ‘Funnykarnika’. Her sister, Rangoli Chandel had taken to Twitter and given it back to a Twitterati for mocking her sister, Kangana. She had tweeted, “How else do you take close up on a galloping horse, this is called a machanical horse and used in movies like Gladiator, The last Samurai, Brave heart and Manikarnika... only for the close ups ....dumb people get excited to see technology... Dumbos !!!” Here is a snapshot of the same:
In the same interview with Mid-Day, Kangana Ranaut spoke about the infamous ‘horse video’ and shared, “I am me, and you are you, is where the words ‘nepotism’, and ‘outsider’, come from; because they feel superior to others. We need to question that, and the fact that I also know who had released that horse video. If I tell you the name, you will be shocked.” Here is a video of the same:

Kangana Ranaut also shared that many stars in Bollywood are insecure because of her and added, “Tanu Weds Manu is still ahead of many heroes’ highest grossers. And with Manikarnika, people are saying no hero has ever done action like this. So, it is frightening many people — making them feel, ki hamari bhi period film aayegi, will we be compared? If in your business, journalism, it is not as simple as it looks, then how can it be in mine?” (Must Read: Sonam Kapoor Ahuja Reacts To Priyanka Chopra Jonas' Dance On Her Song, 'Tareefan')
