Kangana Ranaut is a big cheerleader of Indian culture and its rituals. While she is known for raising her opinion and voice for the right in Bollywood, she also openly talks about India and its culture. From bashing a girl for wearing shorts in a temple to praising ISRO scientists for wearing sindoor, bindi and mangalsutra, Kangana is showing off her love for her nation.
On August 27, 2023, Kangana took to her Instagram handle and posted an IG story of ISRO's women scientists working on the Chandrayaan-3 project. The ladies in the frame were seen donning sarees, bindi, sindoor and mangalsutra. They looked super happy while getting clicked. Rooting for them, Kangana expressed their belief in 'simple living and high thinking'. Her note can be read as:
"India's leading scientists, all of them with bindi, sindoor and mangalsutra... epitome of simple living and high thinking... true essence of Bhartiyata."

On May 26, 2023, Kangana reposted a tweet, wherein a person had called out a girl for wearing shorts at Baijnath temple in Himachal Pradesh. Kangana agreed and shared her own experience. She recalled that when she was on vacation, she was refused entry to the Vatican because of her clothes, and she had to return to the hotel to change.
Kangana didn't like that the girl wore a striped crop top and shorts at a religious place. She called them clowns for wearing night dresses as if they were casuals. Her tweet can be read as:

"These are western clothes, invented and promoted by white people, I was once at the Vatican wearing shorts and t shirt, I wasn’t even allowed in the premises, I had to go back to my hotel and change…. These clowns who wear night dresses like they are casuals are nothing but lazy and lame ….. I don’t think they are capable of having any other intention but there should be strict rules for such fools."
We also loved Indian scientists' ways of dressing up and flaunting their Indian culture!
