Kangana Ranaut is a name which needs no introduction. Apart from being one of the finest actors and labelled as the 'Meena Kumari' of this generation, Kangana is a family-oriented person, who dotes on her family and loved ones. Posting a few pictures with her brother, Aksht Ranaut, actress, Kangana Ranaut revealed in a note that her grandmother used to make her pray to God for a brother. Her note can be read as "When I was small, whenever we went to temples, my dadi whispered in my ear, 'bolo maata raani mujhe ek bhaiya de do.' Without even knowing the meaning of these words, I squeezed my eyes and repeated. Ha ha. On this day, Goddess blessed us and what a wonderful blessing. happy birthday, @aksht_ranaut."
Kangana Ranaut dotes on her brother. Although, she's the kind of person who likes to keep her personal life under the wraps, but some times, we get a glimpse of her great camaraderie with her family. On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, Kangana had penned a heartfelt note for her brother, expressing how she notices his helplessness when she gets bullied by her enemies. She had also mentioned how she notices her brother's anxiety when her films do not perform well or when gossip columns write filth about her or when netizens troll her on social media. She had ended her note by expressing her gratitude to have a brother like him.

Kangana's note could be read as "Dear Aksht, when we were kids, Papa bought you plastic guns and cycles for me, I played with your guns, and you rode my cycles. I love your sense of humour, and there is never a dull moment with you. I know I have chosen my enemies beyond your reach, but I notice your helplessness when they bully me. I see that silent tear fall when they character assassin me when I challenge the system, parents may scold me and create a lot of noise, but I don't miss you silently stand behind them and conflicted and still. I appreciate you read all the comments under my trailers, and I hate when you get anxious when my films don't open well. Above everything what I appreciate the most is you never show me how much you care. I love you and I am so fortunate to have a brother like you." Some time ago, Kangana had shared an unseen throwback picture from the time when she was a kid, and her brothers were toddlers. The picture had featured little Kangana standing beside her sister, Rangoli and her brothers beside her. She had written in the caption about when was this picture taken. Her caption could be read as "This picture was clicked in January 1998 at my parents house in Mandi, two kids standing beside me are my brothers Aksht and Karan and both r getting married now in November, never saw such excitement in our family, yet I wonder where did we loose all those years #throwback."
We had gotten a lot of sneak-peeks into Kangana's family moments in the past few months. Some time ago, we had come upon some pictures of Kangana's family get-together, wherein she and her family could be seen enjoying a traditional meal. Kangana's note alongside the pictures could be read as "My parents are very kind to organise this traditional meal called Dham for me, that's where I grew up nothing has changed, in summers we ate sitting on the floor and slept on the terrace, it was wonderful to be in a joint Family and nice to visit them again - KR."
