Kangana Ranaut recently embarked on her journey as a parliamentarian, as she got elected as an MP for Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. After securing a successful career in films, the actress’ stepping stone towards politics, has made many of her fans anticipate about her future strides in politics. Moreover, all throughout her political rallies and meetings, Kangana continued to grab spotlight for her often controversial remarks.
Kangana Ranaut was recently spotted at the Parliament, as she came to mark her presence. In a video that has gone viral, the actress can be seen bumping into elected Union Minister, Chirag Paswan. For the unversed, the two of them had previously worked in the 2014 film, Mile Na Mile Hum. The duo met each other, shared a hearty laugh and gave one another a high-five before posing a bit for the shutterbugs.

This hasn't been the first time that Kangana Ranaut and Chirag Paswan crossed paths while on the political arena. Earlier, right after their respective win in the Lok Sabha 2024 elections, the two of them met one another during a press meet. In a video that had gone viral, Kangana could be seen walking away not noticing Chirag standing next to her, when the latter called her by her name and asked the actress to pose. Thereafter, they hugged one another and exchanged pleasantaries.

After Kangana Ranaut got shockingly slapped by a CISF official at the Chandigarh airport, the incident was condemned by a vast majority of people who knew the actress. Among them, it was Chirag Paswan who came forward and expressed his regrets at such an unfortunate matter. He had said:

Kangana Ranaut created history at the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, since at her very political debut, she won the seat of MP in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. As she won the seat, the actress became eligible for a hefty salary for such an important position. If reports are to be believed, Kangana will take home a monthly salary of Rs. 1 lakh as the base pay. Additionally, she will also be granted Rs. 70,000 per month, in the form of constituency allowances, that will cover costs for maintaining offices and her meetings.
