Kangana Ranaut is one of the much-loved actresses in Bollywood who never skips a chance to call a spade a spade. The actress never mince her words and speaks her heart out. The actress-turned-politician is currently busy promoting her film, Emergency and has been sharing her opinions. Time and again, Kangana has taken digs at Bollywood and nepotism, and even called Karan Johar the 'flagbearer of nepotism' in an infamous episode of Koffee With Karan back in 2017, and now, she shared how things unfolded after the shoot of that episode, wherein she took several digs at KJo.
In a recent interview with The Lallantop, Kangana Ranaut was asked if she would still choose Karan Johar to play the role of a villain if her biopic gets ever made. For the unversed, on Koffee With Karan, Kangana said that KJo would suit the role of the villain in her biopic. Well, in the recent interview, Kangana said that Karan is a 'local villain' and there are bigger villains in her life now, so if her biopic ever gets made, there would be a bigger villain. Kangana can be quoted as saying:

"Karan Johar is a local villain. If my biopic is made now, there will be a bigger villain. There are bigger villains in my life now.”
Kangana Ranaut was asked how things unfolded after the shoot on Koffee With Karan, wherein she took several digs at Karan Johar and tagged him as 'movie mafia'. The actress mentioned that the filmmaker knows what he has done, and he is a snooty and classist. Kangana mentioned that Karan was taken aback when she gave it back to him on that episode of his show. Kangana mentioned:
"He knows what he has done. He is very snooty, very classist and he was taken aback that I gave it back to him. Voh bhi ek waqt tha."
In the same interview, Kangana was asked about the consequences she faced after she openly took digs at Karan Johar. The actress shared that there had been a certain lightness in the industry that followed the incident. Kangana further added that in the industry, it happens that someone spills something, and they move on, and no one can do anything about it. In Kangana's words:
"certain lightness in the industry. Film indutsry mein do baatein bol di, nikal gaye, kya karenge?"
It was back in 2017 when Kangana Ranaut appeared on Koffee With Karan with Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor to promote her film, Rangoon. Well, during a round, the actress was asked by the host who had given her an unnecessary attitude in the industry. To this, Kanagan pointed at the host and said, 'It's you, Karan'. She went on to call him the 'movie mafia' and the 'flagbearer of nepotism'. She also added that if her biopic gets ever made, then Karan would be the one to play the role of a villain. This episode grabbed a lot of limelight, and a lot of gossip arose from the same as well back in that time, which was followed by the tiff between KJo and Kangana after the episode.
