Kangana Reveals One Thing She Told Akshay Kumar After Refusing His Films: 'You Also Have Daughter..'

Kangana Ranaut is super busy promoting her upcoming film, Emergency. The actress-turned-MP first time talked about the reason behind refusing to work with Akshay Kumar in all of his films. Kangana is enjoying her promotion session as she often spills a lot of details and thoughts on Bollywood and glamorous parties. She also talks about her bond with other Bollywood stars.

Kangana Ranaut revealed why she refused to work with Akshay Kumar

Akshay Kumar is one of the superstars that every actress wants to work with. In an interview with NBT Entertainment, Kangana revealed that when Akshay offered her a role in Singh Is Bliing she instantly refused to be part of it. However, it left Akshay shocked and asked her for the reason. To which, Kangana gave a fiery response.

Kangana revealed that she had told him straight away that he also has a daughter and that she was fighting for the integrity of women. The actress hinted at how Akshay Kumar's roles, which he offered her, weren't respectable. She was quoted as saying:

"Akshay Kumar called me for Singh Is Bliing. Then he called me again for a couple of films. Then he asked ‘do you have a problem with me Kangana?’ I said 'sir, I really don’t have a problem with you'. He asked 'Then why? I am giving you such good roles'. I said 'Please understand, you also have a daughter. We want integrity for women'."

When Kangana Ranaut revealed she refused working with Salman Khan in Bajrangi Bhaijaan

Not only Akshay Kumar but Kangana had also refused to work with Salman Khan in his film, Bajrangi Bhaijaan. The role was later played by Kareena Kapoor Khan, and their chemistry was loved by all. She didn't like the role. However, Salman later approached her for Sultan, but she had rejected the same. She said:

"Salman offered me a role in Bajrangi Bhaijaan, I was like ‘Yeh kya role diya hai?’ (what is this role?). He then approached me for Sultan. I didn’t take that up. He was like ‘What more do I offer to you now?’” she said. She added that despite refusing many films, Salman has been kind towards her."

Kangana Ranaut recalled learning to drive from the same driving school as Deepika Padukone 

In an interview with Mashable India, Kangana Ranaut revealed that in 2007, she and Deepika Padukone had learnt driving from the same driving school in Bandra. The actress shared that when she had a test, she shoved the car in the rickshaw and failed the test. After this, she refused to learn the car after the incident. Kangana further added that a few years later, she saw Deepika Padukone driving her own car, and it left her jealous. She thought, 'Ab toh seekh ke rahungi', and decided to learn again, but she had bad timing as this time, she shoved her BMW into the police van. After which, she understood that she should not drive.
