Like a lot of celebrities, popular singer, Kanika Kapoor is also spending her quarantine time with her family and loved ones at Lucknow. After spending some weeks in the hospital under the eyes of doctors, the singer is now quite fit and free from all sorts of symptoms. Recently, the popular singer posted a picture with her family members on her Instagram handle and urged people to stay indoors because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
On April 26, 2020, Kanika Kapoor took to her Instagram handle and posted a beautiful picture with her family members. In the picture, we can see her sipping a warm cup of tea with her family in her all-black outfit. Along with the beautiful picture, Kanika wrote down a few lines in the caption that can be read as “All you need is a warm smile, a warm heart and a warm cup of tea #familytime #lucknowdiaries #stayhomestaysafe.” Take a look at the warm picture below! For the uninitiated, Kanika Kapoor was admitted at the Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences after the singer had tested positive for coronavirus. From the six tests, the popular singer had tested positive for the first five tests but found negative in the final one. After some days in the observation of doctors, the singer was discharged from the hospital a few weeks ago. Recently, on April 26, 2020, Kanika took to her Instagram handle and posted a long note clarifying the false claims that were circulated about her across the internet. A little excerpt from her long note could be read as “I know there are several versions of stories out there about me. Some of these seem to be fuelled even more because I have chosen to be silent until now. I stayed quiet not because I am wrong but in fact, being fully aware that there have been misunderstandings and wrong exchanges of information. I was giving time for the truth to prevail and for people to reach their realisation.” Take a look.
Moving inside the personal life of this young and beautiful singer, Kanika Kapoor was married to a businessman, Raj Chandok at the age of 18 and post her wedding, she had moved to London. Becoming a proud mother of three kids, Kanika and Raj had decided to part their ways back in 2012 and the former had relocated to Mumbai to make her career in singing. In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Kanika had revealed that she wasn’t allowed to sing post-marriage. She had revealed, “In the mid-90s, I came to this city with my dad, and signed a three-year contract with a music label. But when nothing worked out, I went back to London. It was quite a struggle in Mumbai. My mother was also scared. She had heard that Bollywood wasn’t a good place to work in. She didn’t want me to be a part of the industry. At that time, I was thinking of acting too. But my mother was happy that I got married instead. Then, as I settled down, and started a family, they didn’t allow me to sing anymore.”

Well, we are glad that the singer had pursued her dream of becoming a singer because there’s no doubt that she is one of the most versatile singers in our industry.
