Recently, Avinash Mishra’s sudden eviction from the show left Alice Kaushik so emotional that the actress had a panic attack. However, while her co-contestants and Bigg Boss were sympathetic, Season 10 contestant, Manu Punjabi accused her of faking the attack. Alice’s boyfriend, Kanwar Dhillon then retaliated with a long Instagram story calling out Manu.

Following Manu Punjabi’s harsh criticism of Alice Kaushik’s ‘fake’ panic attack, her boyfriend, Kanwar Dhillon, hit back at the YouTuber. In a lengthy Instagram story, the actor said that Manu should be ‘ashamed’ of treating someone’s mental health struggles like a joke. He further accused Manu of making such insensitive remarks for views and wrote:

“EDUCATE yourself brother… Mental health awareness laao aur phir dimaag ka istemaal karke content banao! Views ki bhook achi hai,par itna niche nahi girneka. Sad to see such desperation for attention in the name of content.”

In his Instagram story, Kanwar Dhillon also demanded that Manu Punjabi apologise to Alice Kaushik for his derogatory remarks without knowing her health problems. Alleging that the YouTuber had deleted his comments on the reel about Alice, Kanwar wrote:

“@manupunjabim3 mera comment delete karne se ye sach nahi badlega ki teri baatein, soch aur content sabkuch hai..Grow up and be responsible dude! U need to apologise to @alicekaushikofficial for the crap reel and nonsense u spoke against her.”

Kanwar further stated that Manu also owed an apology to everyone who deals with anxiety and panic attacks. According to the actor, Manu's comments revealed that he didn't actually know much about mental health problems. He continued in his story:

“In the meanwhile enjoy your "Lime & Light" with all the desperate attention you live for. Kaun hain ye baaki ke gawaar log aur kidhar se aate hain? Mocking people and their health problems in the name of content?? Wah re social media,pet paalne ki majburiyaan kitni hain logon ki..Sad!”

Alice Kaushik suffers a panic attack as her best friend, Avinash Mishra is suddenly evicted

For the unversed, Avinash Mishra’s sudden eviction from the Bigg Boss 18 house is what caused Alice Kaushik to break down and eventually have a panic attack. Avinash was evicted by other contestants on the show after he got into an explosive argument with Chum Darang. However, his besties, Eisha Singh and Alice Kaushik were visibly distressed by the decision.

While Eisha Singh made the strong decision to leave the house with him, Alice Kaushik started sobbing uncontrollably. This eventually led to her panic attack. Alice’s co-contestants were extremely worried for her and did their best to support her, with Shilpa Shirodkar rushing to feed her sugar. Soon after, Bigg Boss called Alice into the medical room to ensure her safety.
