Each episode of Bigg Boss 18 is a rollercoaster ride, filled with drama and unexpected twists. Recently, the spotlight was on Alice Kaushik, who claimed that her boyfriend, Kanwar Dhillon, was ready to marry her. However, Kanwar's version of the story was quite different, as he expressed no immediate plans for marriage. The Pandya Store actor also dismissed the rumours of a proposal to Alice, adding another layer of drama to the show.
Alice Kaushik, in the show, shared with the housemates that she is in a relationship with Kanwar Dhillon. The latter approached her with the intention of marriage, not just for time to pass. After her revelation, Kanwar was bombarded with questions about his marriage with the actress, and he shared that he does not want to marry the actress any time soon. In the recent Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Salman Khan conveyed Alice Kanwar's stance, moving the actress to tears.
After the episode went live, people empathised Alice, and Kanwar gave another interview, clearing his stance about the entire fiasco. Kanwar shared that his words were taken out of context as the BB makers got their masala content. He is not stupid. He will not demean Alice; he just felt that in the flow of the conversation, Alice overshared, and people started questioning him about marriage. He still feels that Alice is the kind of girl he would like to marry, but marriage is not on the cards in the current situation.
Kanwar Dhillon's family was taken aback by the rumours of his marriage proposal, as the actor revealed. Their shock at the speculation about his personal life was a clear indication of the impact such rumours can have. Kanwar Dhillon, determined to set the record straight, addressed the over analysis of his past actions. He highlighted an instance during Ravivaar With Star Parivaar, where a performance was misconstrued as a proposal. He reassured his fans, saying:
“Arreh nahi bhai, esa koi prposal nahi hai. Ghar par heart attack aa jata sabko. Matlab tension mein aa rahe the rishtedaar, koi shaadi waadi nahi hai.”
In the same interview, Kanwar Dhillon candidly shared that he had received messages about his proposal to Alice 'four years ago' following her revelation in Bigg Boss 18. He wasted no time denying the same and clarified that he had not proposed to anyone. Firmly stating that he had no intentions of getting married or settling down, Kanwar said:
