Kanwar Dhillon is best known for his portrayal of 'Shiva' in the Star Plus serial, Pandaya Store. The actor made his debut in the television industry with the teen comedy-drama series The Buddy Project in 2012, and is currently seen in Undne Ki Aasha as 'Sachin'. Dhillion is in a relationship with his Pandya Store co-star, Alice Kaushik, who is at present a contestant in Bigg Boss 18.
Kanwar Dhillon and Alice Kaushik have been making headlines ever since Alice arrived in the Bigg Boss house, and fans are intrigued by why Kanwar did not accompany Alice to the show. In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Kanwar Dhillon opened up about receiving Bigg Boss offers and explained why he never wanted to appear on the show with Alice Kaushik.

While in conversation with Pinkvilla, Kanwar was asked whether he was watching Bigg Boss. Kanwar replied that he was indeed watching the show and not just because of Alice. The actor shared that he has been a huge fan of the show since its first season. He shared:
"Yeah. I am an avid watcher of Bigg Boss, not just because of Alice. Mai pehle season se bahut bada fan hun Bigg Boss ka. Maine har season dekha hai."
The Pandya Store actor, who made headlines after his marriage statement with Alice Kaushik was misconstrued on the show, sat down for a one-on-one conversation with Pinkvilla. He shared that he had never intended to join the show with Alice Kaushik despite receiving offers from the makers because he believes that it deteriorates the relationship and doesn't help with the game either. Sharing on the topic, he said:
"There were talks about Alice and me doing it together, but I was pretty clear that mujhe saath mei toh karna hi nahi hai. No amount of money can make me say yes. Because I believe equations change ho jaati hai andar jaakey aur cheezey kharab hoti hai if you are going with your partner. Or you are not able to play the game the way you think because you are not thinking just for you, you are thinking for two people. So I was never in that favour."

Kanwar also opened up about being approached for Bigg Boss 18. He revealed that he was approached by the makers last year, but it did not work out, and he even got calls this year yet again, he couldn't participate as he is currently working on the show, Udney Ki Aasha. Kanwar said:
"Haan haan, last year baat hui this, iss saal call aaya tha but mai kar nahi sakta. Last year baat hui thi, things didn't work."
Kanwar also shared his views on Alice's game. He said she makes decisions by heart. He admitted that even though the contestant was quiet in the initial days, she has now started actively participating in the game. Kanwar shared that Alice is someone who won't do something her heart doesn't agree on, and thus, her friendships with Eisha Singh, Vivian Dsena, and Avinash Mishra are organic.
