Kapil Sharma has made a name for himself in Indian showbiz as an actor, comedian, singer, and producer. However, the 43-year-old is most popular for his comedy TV show, The Kapil Sharma Show, and now, Netflix series, The Great Indian Kapil Show. Apart from being a multi-hyphenated personality in the industry, Kapil is a doting father to his two kids, Anayra and Trishaan.
On June 18, 2024, the comedian took to his Instagram account and shared with his fans the special gift his lovely daughter, Anayra made for him on the occasion of Father’s Day. In the video, the little one, who was dressed in a blue hoodie and trousers, was heard saying that she made a gift for Kapil. As Anayra was explaining the reason behind the gift, the comedian said “I love you, Shoni.” Kapil shared the video with a sweet message written atop it, which can be read as:
“The bestest gift on Father’s Day.”

Earlier, in May 2024, Kapil was captured at the Mumbai airport with his wife and kids. While the comedian was holding his son in his arms, Ginni held their daughter’s hand. The paparazzi stationed in the airport started clicking pictures as soon as they stepped out of their car. Seeing this, Kapil and Ginni’s baby girl got a bit scared and was seen asking her dad:
“Papa aapne bola tha ye log photo nahi click karenge..”
On the first episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show, the comedian’s wife, Ginni Chatrath, made a special appearance. During the show, the latter was asked if Kapil has changed after getting married and becoming a father. For those who don’t know, Kapil and Ginni got married in 2018 and later welcomed their two sweet angels, a daughter, Anayra and a son, Trishaan. Ginni said that till the time Kapil is at home, he behaves well but she could not guarantee anything once he leaves home. In her words:
“Mere saamne toh sudhra hua rehta hai, ghar se nikalta hai to main koi guarantee nahin le sakti.”

Moreover, Ginni shared her thoughts on how Kapil has been as a father when Neetu Kapoor and Archana Singh inquired about the same. She said, “He is the best dad. He is very hands-on.” However, Kapil replied to this by saying, “Main toh beti ko sambhala tha yeh toh dusra baccha paida karne mein lag gayi.” Ginni further quipped that her baby girl, Anayra was just five months old when she conceived their second child. To this, Kapil shyly said:
“Us waqt COVID chal raha tha.”
