But unlike them, comedy king Kapil Sharma, who is all set to tie the knot with his long-time girlfriend, Ginni Chatrath, has invited all his fans to witness their union. Kapil has a major fan-following across the world, so the actor-comedian has decided to make everyone a part of one of the most important days of his life.

According to the reports, Kapil Sharma and Ginni Chatrath’s wedding will be streamed LIVE on the comedian's YouTube channel. On December 6, 2018, a video was shared on Kapil's YouTube channel, featuring Kapil's friend Zora Randhawa, and it stated that starting from December 11, the highlights from Kapil and Ginni's pre-wedding ceremonies and shaadi will be shared on this channel. The pre-wedding celebrations have already begun at Ginni’s home with Akhand Path and bangle ceremony. As per the reports, soon a Mata Ki Chowki will be organised at Kapil's sister's residence on December 10. The actor-comedian's band baaja baraat will leave for Jalandhar on December 12. Post their wedding, the newly-weds Kapil and Ginni will host a reception in his hometown Amritsar on December 14, 2018, for his close friends and family. For their industry friends, a wedding reception will be hosted in Mumbai on December 24, 2018.

Kapil Sharma announced his wedding to Ginni Chatrath on social media, a few weeks back, with a statement which could be read as, "With great joy in our hearts and blessings of our parents, it gives us immense pleasure to announce that Ginni and I will embark on a new journey of love, respect, and togetherness on 12th of December 2018. We would like to thank each and every one who has been a part of our wonderful sojourn and seek the best wishes and prayers of our loved ones. Lots of love." In an interview with Hindustan Times, Kapil had said, “Maine shaadi rokne ki bahut koshish ki, par kuch nahin hua (laughs). Jokes apart, I am ecstatic to be with Ginni and I know this marriage will be a huge change in my life. Discipline aayega. She takes good care of me and is a huge support in my life. People like me are surrounded by many people at work or events or otherwise, but when you come home, ghar khali lagta hai.”
Kapil and Ginni have chosen an old iconic shop in Jalandhar for their invitation cards, boxes and sweets. For sweets, Kapil and Ginni chose Lovely Sweets, a 60-year-old sweets manufacturer and for their invitation cards, they chose Lovely Imagination, both situated in Jalandhar, Punjab.
As per a report in the Economic Times, Kapil and Ginni wanted something which is a perfect blend of tradition and modernity for their wedding card. Naresh Mittal, Director of Lovely Sweets, shared, "Ginni had come along with her family members and friends to see our new collection, and she liked our designs and presentation style, instantly. Ginni and Kapil wanted a perfect amalgamation of 'traditions and modernity' and our luxurious Royalty collection fit the bill perfectly.”
He further added, “Both Kapil and Ginni were keen to share the flavours of Punjab with a touch of modernity and wellness with all friends and relatives invited for the wedding.
