The comedian-turned-actor, Kapil Sharma is one of the most lovable celebrities in the industry. He is known for his unfiltered jokes and startling personality. However, Kapil has also worked extremely hard to make this place for himself in the industry, and his hard work today indeed pays off. Time and again, he has opened up about the darkest phases in his life and how he used to overcome them. Once again, he revealed his first salary amount on his show and mentioned what he bought with it.
In the latest episode of The Kapil Sharma Show, Kapil was seen asking his guests, including Raveena Tandon, Guneet Monga and Sudha Murty, about their first salaries. While one by one the successful women revealed their first achievements, Raveena mentioned that she earned Rs. 500-600 from working in an ad. Sudha mentioned that in 1974, her salary was Rs. 1500, and she was the highest earning member of the family after her father, who used to earn Rs. 500 and her husband, Narayan was earning Rs. 1000. Afterwards, Guneet shared that at the beginning she was a DJ, an announcer and even a street vendor with an income of Rs. 10-15,000 and her first internship with Pan Nalin fetched her Rs. 5000 per month.

Afterwards, the judge of the show, Archana Puran Singh asked Kapil to reveal his first salary. To this, the joyful actor mentioned that he had earned Rs. 500 as his first salary. And with the amount of money, he bought a Cassette player for himself as he was fond of listening to old songs. He also bought few other things for his mother. He shared:
"I had also earned Rs 500, you wouldn't believe my first buy was also a Cassette player. I used to love old songs and I didn't want to ask for money from my father so I bought it from my first salary and also bought other things for mom."
Earlier, in a promotional interview with the Aaj Tak for his film, Zwigato, Kapil Sharma had talked about a dark phase in his life when he had been suffering from depression. The comedian revealed he began suffering from bouts of anxiety and depression back in 2017, after his first film debut, Firangi, flopped at the box office. He also explained that he started having frequent suicidal thoughts. However, Kapil too, gradually fought with his depressive thoughts. But till today the phase is nothing less than a learning experience for him. He also mentioned how due to this, he could filter out the unnecessary things in his life.

Apart from this, Kapil is also a complete family man and glimpses of the same are often found in his public appearances and social media handles. For the unversed, he is married to the love of his life, Ginni Chatrath and the madly-in-love duo is blessed with two little munchkins, Anayra and Trishaan. From celebrating the little ones' birthdays to his anniversary with Ginni and many other small-to-special moments of their lives, Kapil was seen always spotted along with his loving family.
