Popular Bollywood actor, Sunny Deol and his wife, Pooja Deol’s son, Karan Deol stepped into the Hindi film industry with the 2019 film, Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas. But he failed to leave an indelible impression on the audience with his performance. Apart from the youngster’s professional front, his personal life caught much attention last year when he tied the knot with his ladylove, Drisha Acharya. He tied the knot on June 18, 2023, after dating Drisha for a few years.
On June 22, 2024, Karan took to his Instagram account and shared a few glimpses with his wife to commemorate their wedding anniversary. The couple has been vacationing in the Netherlands to celebrate the occasion. The actor posted pictures with his wife, Drisha, some local delicacies and a few picturesque scenes of the country. Sharing the photos, Karan captioned his post:
“1 year of (love) to (infinity). Happy 1st Anniversary @drishaacharya.”

Earlier, when Sunny Deol appeared on Kapil Sharma’s Netflix show, The Great Indian Kapil Show, he talked about his daughter-in-law, Drisha. He shared that Karan’s wife has brought much luck to the Deol family. An emotional Sunny mentioned how he and his brother, Bobby Deol had been in the industry for decades, and despite immense hard work, things did not work out in their favour.
However, when his son, Karan married Drisha, the latter brought luck to the family. Sunny said that his bahu changed the atmosphere of their household. He shared that Drisha’s inclusion in their family changed their career graphs beyond explanation. In his words:
“All of a sudden, with my son's marriage, and the arrival of a daughter at our home, the atmosphere completely changed. We've seen so many things, arriving and departing in their own time. But the current unfolding of events, along with past occurrences, and the love we're receiving from people…. People have always loved us. We get a lot of love, Papa is loved a lot. And that's why Bobby and I receive a lot of love. But, somehow we were perplexed why things weren't falling into place. But then, the beti (daughter) came home. Then Gadar came. Papa's film had released before that. And after that, Animal came. All records were broken.”

Karan and Drisha tied the knot in a star-studded ceremony in Mumbai. On June 18, 2023, the actor took to his Instagram account and shared the first pictures with his wife, Drisha. In the glimpses, the then-bride beamed with happiness and looked gorgeous in a red-hued lehenga. On the other hand, Karan complemented his wife in a whitish sherwani with some golden detailing. Sharing first pictures with his wife after getting married, Karan captioned the post:
“You are my today and all of my tomorrows. The beginning of a beautiful journey in our lives. We are overwhelmingly thankful for the abundant blessings and well wishes that surround us!”
