Karan Patel Criticises 'Bigg Boss OTT 3' As 'Stupid', Questions The Need For Such A Show

However, a few statements have caused controversy for him. Recently, the actor was asked his opinion on the upcoming Bigg Boss OTT 3 show. Karan called Bigg Boss OTT 3 as a stupid show

Fans are eagerly waiting for the third season of Bigg Boss OTT. But, actor, Karan Patel revealed that he isn't looking forward to it. In an interaction with TellyChakkar, the actor called it a stupid show. He added that he doesn't know what the show is because it is similar to the original show on television. He was quoted as saying:

''I don't know what is this Bigg Boss OTT thing as it's the same thing and it's so stupid I feel it wasn't necessary the same thing it is.''

Karan Patel had once stated that he is a regular viewer of the TV show, Bigg Boss. For the unversed, he even made a brief guest appearance in Bigg Boss season 11. Given the success of Bigg Boss on television, its OTT version was launched in 2021 on Voot.

Karan Patel had earlier called Bigg Boss a ‘dirty' and ‘disrespectful’ show, clarified later

The Yeh Hai Mohabbatein star, made headlines earlier when he made a controversial statement on Salman Khan's show, Bigg Boss. He said, ''It's become such a dirty, disrespectful show to even be associated with." However, he later wrote a note on one of his IG stories and clarified his statement. He explained that Bigg Boss has become more lenient over the last few years, and there is no limit to how low someone can go to character assassinate someone. He did not aim his statement at the channel, the broadcaster, or the host.

Anil Kapoor will host the third season of Bigg Boss OTT

Karan Johar hosted the first season of Bigg Boss OTT, and Salman Khan hosted the second. Now, the new promos have revealed that actor, Anil Kapoor will host the third season of Bigg Boss OTT.
