Karan Patel is one of the most famous actors in the television industry, who often makes it to the headlines with his unfiltered statements. The actor rose to fame with the serial, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. Apart from that, he was seen in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2. Recently, Karan posted a salty IG story that instantly grabbed attention. In the post he basically talked about the need for 'work' and added a pinch of digs at the trending topics from India winning the T20 World Cup to Deepika's pregnancy and more.
Taking to his IG handle, Karan Patel dropped a long note and asked what could be the next hot topic as the general election is over, team India has won the T20 World Cup trophy. Moreover, he also mentioned Deepika Padukone's 'cute baby bump' and remarked that as all of these had been done, people should head towards work. He also congratulated the soon-to-be parents, Deepika and Ranveer. In the concluding line of this note, Karan questioned if anyone is casting. Well, it seems this note will also spark a new ray of controversy for the actor.

It was before the third season of Bigg Boss OTT went live when Karan Patel took a dig at it. In an interview with TellyChakkar, Karan said that he was not looking forward to the show and wouldn't even watch it. The actor tagged the show as 'stupid' and mentioned that it's the same as the original version, and he finds nothing exceptional about it.
For the unversed, earlier, Karan had called Salman Khan's show 'dirty' and 'disrespectful.' The remark was instantly picked up on the internet, and people reacted negatively to it. Later, he took to his IG handle and clarified that what he meant was that in the show, the contestants could go to any extent and character assassinate someone, and hence, he used the terms 'dirty' and 'disrespectful.'
Earlier, in an interview with Pinkvilla, Karan Patel opened up about his struggle with alcoholism, to which he was addicted back while shooting for Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. The actor mentioned that when he was living that life, everything was different as people's waking time turned to be his sleeping time, and his normal life was haphazard due to the constant shooting, which was why he was struck in that phase. Karan also added that when he again started living a normal life, he gradually understood that life was not all about shooting and drinking.
