It was recently seen in the Bigg Boss 18 house that Karan Veer Mehra had jokingly proposed to Chum Darang for marriage. The actor playfully did the same. However, fans started speculating about romance brewing between the two.
Karan Veer Mehra and Chum Darang were the centre of attraction as they left the contestants and their fans entertained. The episode started with the actor removing his frustration because of getting injured due to Rajat Dalal in the task. His co-contestants, Vivian Dsena and Chum, helped him and told him to cool down. After this, Bigg Boss gave an exciting twist to make the mood light in the house. In the assigned task, Karan had to read the comments of fans and contestants. When Chum's turn came, Bigg Boss fans thought she would have a soft corner for him.
Chum's fans agreed that she may have a soft corner for Karan and teased the duo. He seized the moment and admitted that he adored Chum and, jokingly, even proposed her marriage. She replied wittyly, "Third time is a charm," leaving everyone dazed.

Chum's lighthearted reply has already made her fans speculate that the sweet chemistry between the duo could evolve into something more serious as the episodes of Bigg Boss 18. Salman Khan had even joked and told Chum that Karan had given her many relationship hints. She gave clarity to him and said that nothing was brewing between them and that they both were just friends.
Previously, Salman Khan jokingly told Chum that Karan Veer had been giving her many hints about their relationship. She told Salman that there was nothing between them. However, Salman did tell her that many hashtags like 'ChumVeer' and 'KaChum' trended on social media.

The bond between Karan and Chum is growing daily. Fans once got to see a 'ChumVeer' moment when Karan got jealous. In one of the earlier episodes, Shrutika Arjun joked with Chum and said she wanted her hand for her bhai, Chum agreed and said that she would try to create a bond with him for a year. Karan was jealous listening to this and had indirectly confessed his feelings for her. The rumoured pair was earlier also paired in a task called Love Hostel. Karan had spoken privately with Chum and said:
"I came planned that I would not like someone even if I vibe with someone. But yesterday I got jealous of that Aditya (Shrutika's brother) thing." To this, Chum Darang replied, "Now I have become uncomfortable hearing this."
