Kareena Kapoor Cancels Her Scheduled Events And Work Commitments After Malaika Arora's Dad's Death

Malaika Arora and her family are grieving the loss of her father, Anil Mehta, who passed away on September 11, 2024. He died after jumping from his balcony. Malaika's close friends and family members arrived at her parent's residence to pay their respects. While all of Malaika's friends are beside her during his tough time, her dear friend, Kareena Kapoor, has constantly been a great support for the starlet, so much so that the latter has cancelled her work commitments after the tragic death of Anil Mehta.

Kareena Kapoor, in a show of solidarity with her dear friend, Malaika Arora, has made the difficult decision to postpone all her work commitments for the next few days. This includes an event at Lido Cinemas on Juhu Tara Road, which was scheduled for Thursday. The decision to postpone the event was made by Kareena's team, understanding the gravity of the situation. Malaika and her sister, Amrita Arora have been friends with Kareena for a long time, and the trio, along with Kareena's sister, Karisma Kapoor, are often seen together at various gatherings.

The pain of losing your parents can never be explained in words, but it doubles when the cause is suicide. Malaika and her sister Amrita are going through the same. We also spotted Saif Ali Khan, who came after his wife to support Malaika. Ananya Panday also arrived at Malika's parents' home to share her condolence. 

Malaika Arora's stepfather, Anil Mehta's, postmortem report revealed that he died due to fractures

Malaika Arora's stepfather, Anil Mehta's body, was immediately sent to the hospital for postmortem. Now, a day after his death, the reports are out, and it says that Anil Mehta passed away due to suffering from multiple bone fractures and internal injuries. The suddenness of his death, caused by the impact of the fall, is a shocking revelation. The autopsy report also revealed that Anil suffered from severe head injuries.

Malaika Arora's father had been battling depression 

While the family is mourning Anil's step to end his life, a report in Zoom claimed that Malaika's father jumped from the third floor of his residence. Sources close him revealed he was battling depression. He had been unwell for almost a year. Last year, Anil Arora was also admitted to the hospital in Mumbai. As soon as the news came out, it was Arbaaz Khan, who rushed to his ex-wife, Malaika's home to be with the family.
