Motherhood is a very special feeling. Raising a child can be tough at times but growing and nurturing a human being inside the womb is very fascinating. However, time and again the Bollywood actresses have proved that they can accept and embrace pregnancy even late at their age and manage their work profile too.

Well, the Bollywood actresses have proven that stereotypical theory wrong and have embraced motherhood even in their 40s. From Bollywood diva, Kareena Kapoor Khan to Television actress, Anita Hassanandini to filmmaker-producer, Ekta Kapoor and many others have welcomed their kids in their 40s.

Bollywood diva and mommy to two wonderful kids, Taimur Ali Khan and Jehangir Ali Khan, Kareena had embraced motherhood even in her 40s. Her second child, Jehangir Ali Khan, was born on 21 February 2021, when she was 40 years old. She has been keeping her baby boy away from the paps since then. However, she has revealed the face now! For the unversed, she had tied the marital knot with Saif Ali Khan in the year 2012.
Shilpa Shetty Kundra is married to Raj Kundra, and after their marriage, they had welcomed their first child, Viaan, when she was 37 years old in 2012. Later, in 2020, she had welcomed another little angel in her life, Samisha, through surrogacy. At that time, Shilpa was 45 years old.

Veteran actor, Jeetendra's daughter, Ekta Kapoor, is an ace-producer in the Bollywood and television world. In 2019, Ekta Kapoor had welcomed a baby boy in her life when she was 42. She had opted for the IVF surrogacy method to embrace motherhood. Her kid's name is Ravie Kapur, and for the unversed, he has been kept away from the media limelight for years now.

Mandira Bedi and her late husband, Raj Kaushal, are blessed with a baby boy, Vir. But, in 2020, the celeb couple had decided to welcome another child into their life. And thus at the age of 48, Mandira had adopted a girl. They had named her Tara. Taking it to her Instagram account, Mandira had announced about her second child:

Anita Hassanandini and her husband, Rohit Reddy, had welcomed their first child, Aaravv Reddy, in February 2021. Anita is a doting mother to Aaravv, and she had embraced motherhood when she stepped into the 40s club. For the unversed, the television actress, Anita had tied the marital knot with her long-term boyfriend, Rohit in 2013.
On November 18, 2021, Bollywood actress, Preity Zinta and her husband, Gene Goodenough have welcomed twins, a son and a daughter. Preity Zinta is 46 years old and embraced motherhood via surrogacy. While sharing the news with the world, Preity Zinta even revealed the names of their kids. She wrote in the caption of the picture that she shared on her IG handle:
“Hi everyone, I wanted to share our amazing news with all of you today. Gene & I are overjoyed & our hearts are filled with so much gratitude & with so much love as we welcome our twins Jai Zinta Goodenough & Gia Zinta Goodenough into our family. We are very excited about this new phase in our lives. A heartfelt thank you to the doctors, nurses and to our surrogate for being part of this incredible journey. Loads of love and light - Gene, Preity, Jai & Gia.”
Being a mother to a kid and managing the outer world at the same time can get challenging, but kudos to these mothers who have done it well. More power to these Bollywood celebrities who have stepped into motherhood in their 40s.
