The moment a woman gets pregnant, everyone becomes a doctor, even those who know nothing about pregnancy. From the long-lost chachi to padoswali aunty, she gets flooded with uninvited pieces of advice. Everyone wants to know her diet plan and wants to stuff her with full course meals for two people because 'beta ab tum akeli nahi ho na'. On top of it, the pressure of gaining weight and not gaining weight is a discussion of another time. But Bollywood actress, Kareena Kapoor Khan has been beautifully breaking the stereotypes surrounding the pregnant woman. In the year 2016, Kareena had set a new trend by happily flaunting her eight-month baby bump on the ramp. She had worked till the end of her pregnancy and looks like she is back at setting new trends. On August 12, 2020, Kareena and Saif had confirmed the news of expecting a baby and had released an official statement regarding the same, which could be read as "We are very pleased to announce that we are expecting an addition to our family!! Thank you to all our well-wishers for all their love and support. Saif and Kareena."
Since then, everyone is anxiously waiting to see Kareena flaunting her baby bump (which still has a lot of time). But above all, everyone is wondering what she must be having to stay fit and glowing in her first trimester. On August 14, 2020, Kareena Kapoor Khan's nutrition expert, Rujuta Diwekar took to her Instagram handle and shared her diet in the month of May-June. She posted a picture of Kareena and wrote, "The good news is that you don't have to deprive yourself of good food to look good. Sustainable diets keep you sexy and sane. This is exactly what @kareenakapoorkhan was eating and working out around late May - mid June when she shot for the #filmfare cover."
She further shared Kareena's meal plan, "Meal One - Soaked badams / Banana 9-10ish workout (details below) Meal Two - Dahi rice & papad OR roti paneer sabzi & dal. 12ish Meal Three - small bowl of papaya OR handful of peanuts OR piece of cheese OR some makhana. 2-3 ish Meal Four - Mango milkshake OR bowl of litchi OR some chivda. 5-6 ish Meal Five - Veg pulao & raita OR. Palak or pudina roti with boondi raita OR. Dal rice & sabzi. 8ish Bedtime - Haldi milk with little nutmeg. If hungry in bet - fresh fruit, curd with raisins or cashews, Nimbu sherbet, Nariyal pani, Chaas with kalanamak & thing. Weekly workout - Day One (D1) - 20 mins treadmill, focus on speed. D2 - Yoga routine D3 - Break. D4 - Home strength training workout. D5 - 40 mins on treadmill, focus on staying on steady speed. D6 - Restorative yoga postures or Core workout. D7 - Break." Coming back to Kareena's second pregnancy, her father, Randhir Kapoor is on cloud nine as he going to be a grandfather again. In an interview with the Mumbai Mirror, he had stated, "I am absolutely delighted, I have been telling Kareena for so long that Taimur needs a brother or sister to play with. We are all very happy and we pray, it's a healthy, happy child."

Earlier, in a media interaction, Kareena had talked about her pregnancy and had said, "A woman can look beautiful and sexy even through her pregnancy. It's the state of mind, it's the way you look at life, the way you look at yourself. You don't have to have the perfect 10 body to look sexy or beautiful.
