While conversing with Neha, she inquired which one of Kareena’s movies, in her opinion, did way better at the box office than expected. The actress said that Jab We Met became a blockbuster, whereas she had thought that Tashan would be the bigger blockbuster owing to its stellar cast, storyline and action scenes. She further talked about how she wanted the film to do well at the box office as she had achieved size zero for the movie, but unfortunately, it failed to impress the audience. Moreover, she said that this film gave the actress her entire life as she got married to Saif Ali Khan.
During the show, Neha Dhupia asked Kareena about her classic romcom, Jab We Met, which was released 16 years ago. She asked if ‘Geet’ is still one of the actress’ favourite characters or if she has moved on from it. To this, Kareena said that ‘Geet’ will forever remain special to everyone for plenty of reasons. Revealing the same, Kareena said:
“I think Geet will always be special to everyone because you have never really seen a character who is so honest, so loving, a girl who wants to chase her dreams. Geet in a way was aspirational and inspirational, and everyone wanted to be her or be like her. She is evergreen for generations and all times and Geet will always be in me. It kind of transcends all generations - Jab We Met is like a garam dal chawal on a rainy day, and that's what Jab We Met will always be special.”
