Kareena Kapoor Khan has been riding high in her professional side. Recently, she made her OTT debut with Sujoy Ghosh's Jaane Jaan. Next, she will be seen in the upcoming film, The Crew, co-starring Tabu, Kriti Sanon and Diljit Dosanjh. In addition, she graced the cover page of The Dirty Magazine, and struck some of the bold poses in unique outfits. Not only that, in a conversation with the team of the magazine, she made some honest revelations about her marriage and motherhood, which are simply unmissable.
For the unversed, Kareena Kapoor got married to Saif Ali Khan in October 2012 in Mumbai, after dating each other for a few years. During their courtship period, they also lived together for five long years. Now, in the interview with The Dirty Magazine, Kareena opened up about the importance of living with her partner ahead of their wedding. Explaining more about it, Kareena shared that nowadays, people marry only to have kids, and they did the same. Well, with Kareena's revelation, it is clear that she wanted to live a beautiful life with Saif ahead of embracing parenthood. In Kareena's words:

“The reason you get married now is that you want to have a child, right? I mean today otherwise you can just live together. We [Saif Ali Khan and I] lived together for five years, so when we took the next step, it was because we wanted to have children."

After being in marital bliss for four years, Kareena and Saif were blessed with their first son, Taimur Ali Khan in 2016. Their family was completed with the arrival of their second child, Jehangir Ali Khan in 2021. In the candid interview, Kareena also quipped about her style of parenting. She revealed her wish to live her life her way in front of her kids and also to let them do whatever her boys want. Elaborating more about her approach to parenting, Kareena added:
"We treat them (the kids) as individuals, we respect them, and we just let them be. They will figure it out, they will find their own path. Kids are quite resilient, you know... I want to live my life in front of my kids, I want to do everything with them. We have to be happy na, then they will flourish. I’m responsible for my own mental health first.”
On November 12, 2023, Kareena took to her IG handle and shared some beautiful glimpses of her Diwali celebration with her family. In the glimpses, Kareena looked stunning as always in a pink-hued kurta set paired with a matching dupatta, while Saif looked dapper in a white-hued kurta and matching dhoti. Meanwhile, their sons, Taimur and Jehangir looked cute in kurta-dhoti sets. However, just like last year, Kareena yet again struggled to get a perfect family picture, as Jehangir was in a whole playful mood. The munchkin was seen running while his elder brother, Taimur posed with their parents. Sharing the photos, Kareena hilariously penned:
"Year after year and still trying to get the perfect family picture …But nonetheless… Happy Diwali lovely people..from our heart to yours …"

On November 11, 2023, Kareena Kapoor shared some extremely cute photos of her Diwali preparations with her boys. Undoubtedly, once again, her adorable second son, Jehangir, was seen playing with colours, while trying his best to make a rangoli. On the other hand, Kareena Kapoor was seen looking at Jehangir's rangoli with a confused look, along with Taimur and Saif were seen posing with a grin. Alongside the pictures, Kareena mentioned:
"Aiyoooo when the family decides to do Rangoli…or Holi…no idea …but what matters is we had fun… Let the festivities begin, love and laughter to everyone."
