Life and death are unpredictable, and one never knows when one may meet their end. No matter how young one is, one's life is always vulnerable, and the same happened with famous television and film actor, Vikas Sethi. The young 48-year-old actor suddenly passed away, leaving his family, friends and fans in utter shock.
Vikas Sethi was one of the most famous face of the entertainment industry. He has not only proved his acting mettle in serials but has also been a part of several movies like Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Oops and more. As per his wife, Jhanvi Sethi, the couple went to Nashik to attend a family function, and after they returned, he started vomiting and had loose motions. However, Vikas was reluctant to go to the hospital and wanted to call the doctor home. In Janhvi's words:

"After we reached my mother's house in Nashik, he had vomiting and loose motions. He didn't want to go to the hospital, so we asked the doctor to come home..."
Vikas slept after that, and went his wife went to wake him up the next morning, she realised that he was no more. When the doctor came, he announced that Vikas has passed away in his sleep due to cardiac arrest. Jhanvi in a conversation with PTI, added:
"When I went to wake him up at around 6 am in the morning (on Sunday), he was no more. The doctor there told us he passed away last night in his sleep due to cardiac arrest."
Vikas Sethi's mortal remains have been sent for post-mortem to Mumbai's Cooper Hospital, said his wife, Jhanvi. His friends from the fraternity are shell shocked by the news of his passing. His dear friend and co-star, Delnaaz Irani said:
"I just got to know from a friend that Vikas is no more. It is extremely shocking and sad. I have known Vikas since 2008when we did a dance show together titled Zara Nachke Dikha. We weren't in regular touch with each other after the show."
Vikas started his career in the early 2000s and has been part of several hit shows, including Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Sasural Simar Ka, Kasauti Zindagi Ki, Uttaran, Geet Hui Sabse Parayee, Gustakh Dil, and many more. He has also played 'Robbie' in the cult hit Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. On the personal front, Vikas married Janhvi in 2018 and, a few years later, welcomed twin boys in June 2021.
