Kareena Kapoor Khan is one of the most sought-after actresses in Bollywood. The diva enjoys a massive fan base and is selectively hailed as the OG glamour queen among all her other contemporaries. Granddaughter of Raj Kapoor, Kareena carried the powerful talent of acting, courtesy of her surname, as a result of which she has carved an irreplaceable position in the film industry. For the unversed, Kareena made her debut in the year 2000 with the film, Refugee and hasn’t looked back on her career since. However, it seems that the vibe of a diva was within her personality right from day one.
While scrolling through our social media feed, we came across a picture of an old newspaper clipping that featured a small snippet of an interview of a then-baby girl, Kareena Kapoor. The young Bebo spilt many things about her life, and especially expressed her desire to grow up quickly and become an actress. She had said:

When further probed by the reporter about her favourite actors, whom she looks upto, the baby girl, Kareena with her infectious energy right back then, promptly took the name of the superhit actress, Sridevi. Revealing excitedly more about her inspiration, Kareena mentioned:
“Oh, I simply love Sridevi. And so does Lolo. She’s superb, she’s superb. I love the way she dances and sings. I can do it almost the same. Everyone says that I dance even better than her. You know I’ve seen Mr. India and Ram Avtar five times each.”
Well, it was quite evident from the initial phase of the interview that right from childhood, Bebo had aspired to become an actress. However, when asked about her education and studies, the young Kareena had given an almost unmissable yet relatable answer. She mentioned:
“I am at the top of my class. Lolo helps me with my homework. Mama’s strict about studies. But Lolo is even stricter. She even spanks me sometimes when I get naughty. But that is because she loves me.”
