Karisma Kapoor is one of the most talented actresses in Bollywood. The diva made her debut with the movie, Prem Qaidi in 1991, and after that, she continued to leave her fans in awe of her acting performances in several of films. Recently, the actress is seen as a judge on the show, India's Best Dancer, wherein she recently revealed watching several ears of the Hindi film industry, and how things have evolved throughout the years.

Karisma Kapoor recalls going crazy watching the monitor for the first time

In an upcoming episode of India's Best Dancer, Karisma will be seen in a retro look influenced by Zeenat Aman. Well, in a promo of the same episode, Karisma Kapoor talked about witnessing several eras of Bollywood. The actress shared that she and her co-stars had somewhat gone crazy after watching a monitor for the first time during the shoot of the film, Dil Toh Pagal Hai. The actress added that she and her co-stars were astonished by the fact that they could watch what they were doing on the monitor. Karisma can be quoted as saying:

"First film jisme monitor aaya tha was Dil Toh Pagal Hai. On which shoot? On dance of envy. Yash ji brought it and aadi and uday and hum toh matlab pagal hi hogaye thhe. Ke really? Hum dekh sakte hai hum kya kar rahe hai? Phir hum aake dekh rahe thhe, like we had gone crazy.''

Karisma Kapoor shared how actresses would go behind the trees for change and bathroom in the past

In the same video, Karisma Kapoor mentioned that the first time she got familiar with sound sync was during the shoot of the movie, Zubeida. The actress revealed that it was the first film, wherein they used lapel microphones to experience live sound. Karisma also mentioned that the actresses, during that time, didn't have their own vans or parks, and all of them used to go behind the trees to change. Sharing how things have changed over the 40-50 years, Karisma added:

"Toh ya, aisa bhi era jaha humare pas kuch vans jitne park huye hai bahar, kuch nahi hota tha. Hum jhaad ke peeche jaake change karte thhe aur bathroom bhi jaate thhe. There has been such a big change over the last 40-50 years humare industry mein."

Karisma Kapoor talked about carrying forward Raj Kapoor's legacy

Karisma Kapoor is the grandchild of the legendary late actor, Raj Kapoor. During the LSG event, Karisma Kapoor was asked if she was Raj Kapoor's favourite grandchild. Talking about the same, she revealed that she didn't know if she had been the favourite one, but there had been a connection. The actress added that she has the eyes of Raj Kapoor, and earlier, it was just she and him having those beautiful eyes, and now, Taimur and Raha have it. The actress added that Raj Kapoor gave all of them a value system, which she tried to pass on to her kids as well.

Talking about Karisma Kapoor's career in Bollywood, she made her debut with the movie, Prem Qaidi. Apart from that, she also proved her mettle with her top-notch skills in the movies like Jigar, Raja Babu, Andaz, Raja Hindustani, Coolie No. 1 and more. She took a break from the industry in 2003 and made her comeback in 2012 with Dangerous Ishhq. 2024 marked the actress' OTT debut, and she received a lot of appreciation for her role in Homi Adajania‘s Murder Mubarak.
