Karisma Kapoor Reveals Similarity Between Her, Taimur And Raha, Which Has Connection To Raj Kapoor

Karisma Kapoor and her darling sister, Kareena Kapoor, sat down for a fun episode of Netflix’s The Great Indian Kapil Show on October 12. therein, the celebrity sisters revealed many secrets of the Kapoor clan that had us rolling on the floor laughing. In one such segment, Kareena Kapoor revealed that Karisma was their grandfather, Raj Kapoor's favourite grandchild, for one physical trait that she now shares with Taimur and Raha.

Karisma Kapoor was one of the most famous actresses back in the 90s who swooned all the viewer's hearts with her charismatic screen presence and doe eyes. Coming from the Kapoor family, Karisma always garnered much attention for being Raj Kapoor's favourite grandchild, whom he loved dearly. Now, her sister, Kareena, revealed that the main reason for the love was her blue eyes. Yes, you read it right, Raj Kapoor loved karisma as she inherited his blue eyes.

Recently, Karisma on Netflix’s The Great Indian Kapil Show shared that she also shares her blue eyes with the next generation of youngsters. Kareena and Saif Ali Khan's son, Taimur, also has blue eyes, which they inherited from Raj Kapoor. Even Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's daughter, Raha, have the same doe eyes.

Karisma Kapoor revealed how she reacted upon learning Kareena and Saif's relationship

Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karisma Kapoor recently graced The Great Indian Kapil Show, wherein the latter recalled how she reacted upon learning her sister was dating her then co-star and now husband, Saif Ali Khan. Karisma revealed that Kareena wanted her sister to sit down somewhere before breaking the news of her dating Saif Ali Khan on the phone. Karisma remarked how she sat on a sofa while shopping in London, not knowing what she was about to learn. When Kareena said that she was dating Saif, Karisma remained puzzled. In Karisma's words:

"Kareena actually asked me to sit down somewhere before she could say what she wanted to say. I didn’t understand the need, but I did find a sofa in the London store where I was shopping. She went like, ‘The thing is that, I’m in love with Saif. We are together. We are dating,’ and I wanted to hold on more tightly to the sofa."

Raj Kapoor kept a condition before visiting newborn, Karisma Kapoor in the hospital

Raj Kapoor was very affectionate towards his kids and grandkids, and Karisma Kapoor was also known as his favourite. But did you all know Raj Kapoor kept a condition before Karisma was born? He added that he would only visit the hospital if the newborn had blue eyes. In the book, Raj Kapoor: The One and Only Showman, Babita said:

“I remember the day Lolo was born, the entire family was with me by my side at Breach Candy Hospital, except my father-in-law. He said that he would come to the hospital only if the newborn had blue eyes. Thank the lord that Lolo had deep blue eyes, like my father-in-law.”
