Kartik Aaryan is undoubtedly one of Bollywood's most bankable actors these days. With his back-to-back line-up of big-budget films, swanky cars, and dapper looks, the actor has been staying in the limelight for a long time now. Needless to say, Kartik also enjoys a massive female fan following and has become a youth icon for many.
However, things did not go so smoothly from day one for the actor. Being a complete outsider in the Hindi film industry, Kartik had to pave his way out to be in the league of top actors. And obviously, the journey has been more of downs than ups, rejections and many other struggles. Recalling his initial phase as a struggling actor in an interview with NDTV Goodtimes, Kartik revealed how often his films would get scrapped and how he was told never to tell anyone about the failure. In his words:

“Mere saath aesa bhi hua hai ki jo ek aadh film jo main almost lock hogaya hun aur, before my debut also, lekin it didn't take off. Aur maine pure jahaan mein bata diya tha ki meri film hone wali hai and it didn't take offf. Toh uske baad in fact ek bohut sahi cheeze maine yeh jaani ki kabhi kisiko batana mat.”

Kartik made his blockbuster debut with his performance in the film, Pyaar Ka Punchnaama. Further, during the interview, Kartik revealed why he never informed anyone of working in the film, fearing it might also get scraped. Kartik mentioned:
“When Pyaar Ka Punchnama was happening, when I got my first film, I never told anyone that I'm shooting for a film or I'm doing anything. Because I thought, pata chale yeh bhi scrap hogayi toh.”

In the film industry, every actor has to face their fair share of rejection. Kartik Aaryan was no alien to this, and during the interview, he revealed how at one point in time, he was told that it would become a huge favour if anyone would ever cast him for any role. He also mentioned that after being rejected from an audition, there would never be any apology offered to him.
