The universe is divided into two categories, the ones, who can sing and the other lot, who love to sing but can’t. While most people, who fall into the latter category, shy away from singing in public despite feeling that you have everything that it takes to be a rockstar! During the promotions of her second blockbuster film, Simmba, Sara Ali Khan had left no chance to flaunt her hidden talent and sang Aankh Maarey or Tere Bin in every interview, even when she wasn’t asked to. Doing something you love confidently, even if you suck at it, is what we need to learn from this 24-year-old starlet. Hearing Sara sing in every interview made us love her even more because she’s just too damn relatable. It was at the 26th Star Screen Awards when Sara Ali Khan, yet again, treated us with a song which she had sung on-stage. It was her once-rumoured beau and Aaj Kal co-star, Kartik Aaryan, who had asked Sara to sing a song for her fans. Sara picked Rekha starrer song, Kaisi Paheli Zindagani from her father, Saif Ali Khan’s film, Parineeta. As an all-excited Sara began singing, the audience burst into laughter and her fellow actors, Kartik and Ananya Panday closed their ears. Kartik then teased her by saying, “Jitne logon ko neend aa rahi thi, aapne aur sula diya.” We love Sara’s confidence and unapologetic attitude!

It was after a long time that fans had seen the Aaj Kal co-stars, Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan together, amidst their breakup rumours. Sara had grooved to Kartik Aaryan’s song, Dheeme Dheeme from the film, Pati Patni Aur Woh and the latter shook his legs to her song, Aankh Maarey from her movie, Simmba at the 26th Star Screen Awards. But did you know that Kartik became Sara’s knight in shining armour when she had tripped on the train of her dress and almost fell off the stage? In case you missed it, here are the videos:
Sara Ali Khan had bagged the Best Debut Award for Kedarnath at the 26th Star Screen Awards and had graced the red carpet of the award night with utmost grace and elegance. To keep her glam quotient high, Sara had opted for a silver tube dress which had a long train on the back, and she had posed for the shutterbugs with her oh-so-beautiful smile. As an acknowledgement post, Sara had penned down a note on her Instagram, which could be read as “Thank you Star Screen Awards for the best Debut Award This one is for the entire cast and crew of Kedarnath. Thank you to everyone that made it possible for me to call myself ‘an actress’- which was my ultimate dream, is my most favourite adjective, and will always be something that I promise to try and get better and better at #jaibholenath.” (Also Read: Karan Wahi Confirms His Relationship With London-Based Girl, Uditi Singh, With This Cryptic Post)

For those who have been living under a rock, here’s a quick flashback to start with! Sara Ali Khan, with a spark in her eyes and glow on her face, had confessed her ‘crush’ and fondness towards Kartik Aaryan on Karan Johar’s chat show, Koffee With Karan season 6. From “Yeah, tell him na!” to "Haan, matlab coffee pina chahunga" to being protagonists in Imtiaz Ali’s Aaj Kal, it seemed like the universe had conspired for the probable love saga of Kartik and Sara, and soon Sartik (as their fans fondly call them) became the ‘sweethearts’ of the nation! But if rumours were to be believed, things had ended on a rather sad note for nation’s crushes and sweethearts, Sara and Kartik. Neither Kartik nor Sara had ever commented on either their alleged relationship or their breakup rumours.
