The festival of suhagans, Karwa Chauth has begun. For the unversed, Karwa Chauth is celebrated among married women who keep nirjala fast for their husbands for their long lives, happiness, prosperity, and more. Nowadays, husbands, too, keep fast, which is an exhibition of mutual respect and love. Karwa Chauth is celebrated in Bollywood in grandeur. The Bolly queens deck up on the day in their ethnic best, gather together and celebrate the festival with utmost joy. While we are waiting for the glimpses of the top-notch festive fashion of Bollywood queens on Karwa Chauth, we got some glimpses from the early-hour preps of some of the divas for Karwa Chauth, and it's all about mehendi, decor and sargi.
Taking to her IG handle, Parineeti Chopra shared a few glimpses from the second Karwa Chauth of hers that she is all set to embark upon. In the glimpses, we could see her minimalistic mehendi design for Karwa Chauth that featured heart shapes and a simple line to highlight the hearts on the back of the actress' hands. Another photo showcased Parineeti's all-lightened-up home for the same festival. In one of the videos, Parineeti was seen sitting on an armchair in her decked-up home. Sharing the clip, the actress wrote, 'The best kind of welcome'. For the unversed, Parineeti recently came to Delhi to celebrate her second Karwa Chauth with her politician husband, Raghav Chadha.
On the other hand, Shilpa Shetty, too, took to her IG handle and shared a cutesy glimpse of her sargi. The plate was filled with some yummies and gifts. We remained stuck on Shilpa's henna design of Karwa Chauth. The actress opted for some simple lotus designs for hands, which her mehendi artist, Veena Nagda, mentioned to be her favourite. Well, Shilpa also donned her feet with mehendi, and we cannot wait for the actress to blow our minds off with her look for Karwa Chauth.
Sonam Kapoor, too, took to her IG handle, and shared glimpses of her classy mehendi for Karwa Chauth, which was being done by Veena Nagda. In one of the glimpses, Sonam could be seen donning a white-toned dress and getting her mehendi done. Sharing the clip, the actress wrote how she doesn't fast on Karwa Chauth, but she's much into fashion, food, and mehendi as well. The actress' mehendi design screamed volumes about her love for her husband and son, as in both hands, she designed the mehendi with Anand and Vayu's name, and oh boy, how cute is that!
We cannot wait for the Bollywood actresses to send us into a collective meltdown with their Karwa Chauth looks!
