Jaya Kishori is a rising name that has been guiding youth and simplifying spirituality for the young generation. The moment her name comes out, people immediately recall a young girl dressed in pretty Indian outfits, with hair tied in a ponytail and a bindi on her forehead. She might look like a fragile young girl, but she has immense knowledge, which comes from her following the spiritual path and doing kathas from a young age.
Jaya Kishori is a motivational speaker, and many of you must have stumbled upon her reels and how she makes life easy with her simple words. She has even expressed her views on life, women, and Krishna love in many podcasts. While people know her as a spiritual and motivational speaker, not many know how she started her journey at a young age of seven.
Jaya Kishori was born in Sujangarh, Rajasthan, on July 10, 1995. She completed her schooling from Mahadevi Birla World Academy School. Later, she pursued her B.Com through open education. However, she began her spiritual journey, courtesy of her father, who would often listen to kathas.
Being a Krishna devotee, Jaya Kishori started singing at the age of seven. She performed at Satsang, held during Kolkata's Basant Mahotasav. Soon, she started kathas as kathavachak. In a podcast, Jaya revealed that she started kathas out of sheer curiosity, but soon, she fell in love with and enjoyed them.
Another fact not many know about Jaya Kishori is that her real name is Jaya Sharma. However, she got 'Kishori' after her name from Pandit Govindram Mishra. He would call her Radha and after seeing her immse love for Lord Krishna, she was given the title of 'Kishori Ji'.

Jaya Kishori hails from Rajasthan. Her father, Shiv Shankar Sharma and mother, Geeta Devi and her younger sister, Chetna Sharma shifted to Kolkata. She lived a major part of her life there.
Jaya Kishori is not yet married. In one of her podcasts, she challenged the idea of a woman leaving her house after marriage. She shared that both the girl and boy should leave their home and make a new place of there. Jaya Kishori also added that where ever she get married, her parents will have a home next to her.
Well, Jaya Kishori is definitely an inspiration for the young generation!
