Recently, a Bangalore-based woman, whose IG handle is Mizz_rants_alot, gave her honest review about Katrina's Kay Beauty eyeliner and became an internet sensation online. While some people lauded her marketing skills, others were impressed with her humourous nature.
The woman's video went viral on the internet, and it was even covered by many media portals. Soon, Katrina Kaif also noticed the viral post and decided to react to it. On August 13, 2024, Katrina took to her IG stories and reshared the video. She also penned a wholesome note atop the story and left everyone amazed. The actress posted the video with the caption:

"So happy that you are 'bhauchakki, achambit and prabhawit' by our Kay Beauty liquid eyeliner... Life can be unpredictable but your eye liner shouldn't be (wink face kiss face and heart emojis)."

Shortly after, the Bangalore-based woman discovered that Katrina Kaif had reposted her video on her IG handle, and her reaction was overwhelming. She shared a screengrab of the actress' IG story and penned, "Cannot keep calm, is this even real? The queen herself omgomg." She also shared another picture of herself expressing disbelief and wrote:
"Kal manager ko kaise bataungi ki sorry I can't come into work because I couldn't sleep all because KATRINA KAIF posted me on her story."
In the video, the woman clarified that it was an ad, but she had not been paid for it. She also shared that the quality of the Kay Beauty eyeliner has amazed her so much that she had to stop in the middle of the road on a rainy day to review it. The woman mentioned that she was on her way back to her home from the office, and it started raining heavily. Though she tried to save herself from water splashes, she couldn't, and she even slipped on the road. Despite her being completely drenched in the rain, Katrina's Kay Beauty eyeliner, which she had applied in the morning, did not even budge, and thus, she was utterly impressed by the product.

When the video was uploaded by a netizen on X (formerly Twitter). it caught everyone's attention. Shortly after, a Redditor also dropped the video on the discussion platform, and penned, "No wonder Katrina has no interest in Bollywood anymore." Soon, other social media users started reacting to the viral video and also shared their experiences of using Kay Beauty's products.
