Kavita Kaushik and Ronnit Biswas' nuptial decision had come as a sweet surprise to everyone. Not only because there was no hint beforehand, but also because she was getting married at the age of 36! But as they say, love knows no age. And by marrying so late, Kavita Kaushik and Ronnit Biswas are clear on one thing- they don't want to have kids.
Kavita Kaushik, during an interview with the Hindustan Times, has her fair reasons for such a decision. She told the media portal, "I don’t want to be unfair to the child. If I have a child in my 40s, by the time my child would be 20, we would’ve touched our old age. I don’t want our child to take care of old parents in his/her 20s."
And it's not only her decision but even hubby, Ronnit also supports the same and they have mutually decided not to have kids. Sharing that she doesn't want to bring a child to this overcrowded world, Kavita further added, "Maybe we are not maternal and paternal as people. We want to make the world a lighter place and don’t want to bring up a child to this overcrowded city and throw him in the struggles of Mumbai."
Kavita Kaushik also revealed that Ronnit had lost his parents at a young age, and even she had to go through a lot to support her family. The 38-year-old actress was quoted as saying, "Ronnit lost his parents when he was very young and even I, being the only child, had to do a lot of hard work to make a living and support my family. So now, we are enjoying life like kids, travelling and achieving couple goals and more. Sometimes I act like a father to him and he acts like a mother to me. We fulfil the things that we don’t have in each other’s lives, thus, we don’t feel the need to have a child."

She also shared that instead of having a biological child of their own, they believe in adoption, and added, "We’ve already adopted our father’s extended family in the village in Rajasthan. We take care of them in the best of our capabilities. We like to do things for others." (You May Like: Sushmita Sen Shares Unseen Childhood Picture With Her Grandmother Ahead Of Mother's Day 2019)
In an earlier interview, when she was asked why she chose Ronnit as her partner, Kavita had shared, “Contrary to my image of an extrovert, I have a small but strong inner circle. I’ve been blessed with the best parents and a few amazing friends, who’ve kept a wild child like me grounded. A few have put a spy after me, too, I’m sure. So, actually, the people closest to me knew what was happening in my life.”
She had further added, “Ron is one of my closest buddies. In fact, he is a reflection of me, not the outer image that people know of me, but the real person that I am, my habits, my dreams, the drive, the love for a simple life and more. My father was a great source of strength for me.With him around, I could goof up and not regret. I could fight the world and not be scared; he gave me the luxury to be reckless.”
On February 15, 2019, it was Kavita’s birthday and Ronnit had taken to his Instagram to wish his doting wifey. He had shared the following picture and had written, “Happy birthday to the woman who makes my existence worthwhile! You are my rock, my everything. thank you for being you jaan. I love this day and every day with you!! #happybirthday #kavron @ikavitakaushik #bestfriends.”
Kavita Kaushik, in an interview with an online tabloid, had spoken reverently about her husband. She had shared, "Ours was a platonic but close equation, which I think is the real definition of true friendship. His simplicity, his large-heartedness and compassion drew me towards him. Ron completed me. He stood next to me while I saw my father’s pyre burn and that’s where we both locked our hands to never let go. In my earlier relationships, I knew it was perhaps wrong and I was always searching for something else. But now I know that I don’t want to grow old with any other man. I’ve never been sure.” (Don't Miss: Amitabh Bachchan Has The Most Special Tribute For Mother's Day, Sings An Emotional Song [VIDEO])
