Decades after decades, Amitabh Bachchan has created a niche with his films and characters in the Bollywood industry. His wife, Jaya Bachchan, also holds a special place in our hearts, and their son, Abhishek, has also followed their footsteps into acting. Their whole family is in the Bollywood fraternity and have been entertaining us for years.
Amitabh Bachchan is a family man, who loves to spend time with his wife, Jaya Bachchan, son, Abhishek, daughter, Shweta, daughter-in-law, Aishwarya, and grandkids, Aaradhya, Navya Naveli Nanda and Agastya Nanda. They all are a big happy family! But that doesn't mean, there won't be any nok-jhok amongst each other!

Recently, on December 3, 2021, on Shaandaar Shukravaar episode on Kaun Banega Crorepati 13, the show's host, Amitabh Bachchan's daughter, Shweta Bachchan Nanda and his granddaughter, Navya Naveli Nanda took the hot seat. For the unversed, this was KBC's 1000th episode and Amitabh's wife, Jaya, also joined them through video call.
Sony TV's official IG handle shared one of the promo videos from the episode, where Amitabh's daughter, Shweta can be seen pulling her father's leg for making fun of her 'mumma', Jaya, in previous episodes. She said:
"We often watch KBC and you often say a lot of things about us and about mummy (Jaya)."
While talking about it, they played a clip from Genelia D'souza and Riteish Deshmukh's episode, where Genelia had asked, "If you see 5 missed calls from Jaya. What will happen then?" Amitabh had responded to that by saying, "Earthquake." To add a reason to his defence, Amitabh Bachchan said that when he calls back Jaya to ask why did she call so many times, she says, she wanted to ask, "What do you want to eat for dinner?"

Jaya giving a firm look, further added to this conversation that Amitabh Bachchan never picks up his calls. Their daughter, Shweta also can be seen agreeing to that. Jaya shared:
“Darshakon, mein aapko bataun, aap inko phone kariye, yeh kabhi phone uthate nahi hain.”
In the same video clip, Shweta talked about how the family used to spend time during the lockdown period. She mentioned that they would play dumb charades, and it was Amitabh Bachchan, who used to lose. She said:
"During the lockdown when all of us were together, we started playing dumb charades and you all will not believe but papa was the worst player."
Further in the video, Jaya talked about how Amitabh cannot decide on what to eat for dinner. Listening to all his dramas, the crowd burst into laughs and claps. Jaya Bachchan revealed:
“When he doesn't know what to eat then he says make anything and when I ask him if you want to eat chapati or normal food then he is like no. Then I ask him if he wants to eat vada pao then he is like I can't eat that at night. Then he says cook whatever you want. I listed so many things for him to eat and he says no to everything.”
On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan was last seen in the film, Chehre and Jaya Bachchan is currently shooting for the film, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.
