Amitabh Bachchan’s Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 will feature his son, Abhishek Bachchan, and director, Shoojit Sircar, this week. Abhishek and Shoojit will be seen promoting their upcoming film, I Want To Talk, on KBC. However, that is not all the episode has to offer; the upcoming episode also explores the bond the father-son duo shares.
The promo has already given us insight into several conversations that will happen on the KBC set. While the audience is excited to have a closer look into the bond and get some perception about Junior B's upcoming film, the new teaser from the episode in which Abhishek talks about fatherhood and praises his father’s efforts and contributions in his life has us all feeling mushy.
According to the new promo, Abhishek Bachchan takes a moment to acknowledge the father's contribution to his child's life. He started by saying that he is unsure whether it is the right thing to say, and he hopes people don't take it otherwise. Abhishek added that his father got out of the house at half-past six in the morning so that he could sleep till 8-9. He further shared that no one talks about what a father does for their kids because they do it quietly. He shared:
"Paa, I don’t know if it’s the right thing to say. I hope people don’t misunderstand. Lekin aaj humlog yaha baithe hain, raat ke 10 baaj gaye hain, subah 6:30 ko mere pitaji ghar se nikle the taa ki subah 8-9 baje hum aram se jaag sake. Koi zyada baat nahi karte hain ki pitaa apne bachhon ke liye kya kya karte hain kyunki wo chupchap karte hain."
In another promo video, when asked about what Abhishek Bachchan and Shoojit Sircar would do if they won the Rs 7 crore prize money. Shoojit Sircar mentioned he would donate the money to an NGO aiding stray dogs. However, Abhishek's answer took the cake as he said:
"I will pay for the Kaun Banega Crorepati wrap party fund! If we win the Rs 7 crore prize money, then I’m declaring that there won’t be any shoot for the next two days. We’re all heading to Goa for a holiday!"
Fans will soon be seeing Abhishek Bachchan in director, Shoojit Sircar's I Want To Talk. The much-talked-about slice-of-life drama is set to hit theatres worldwide on November 22, 2024. The film also stars Johny Lever and social media influencer, Ahilya Bamroo. It follows the poignant journey of 'Arjun', played by Abhishek Bachchan, who will be seen fighting a life-altering health issue while finding his way through his personal struggles.
