Jayam Ravi and Aarti's separation has caused a buzz in the media. The actor announced the news of his separation, and after a few days, his ex-wife, Aarti accused the divorce of being a one-sided decision. While this was going on, Jayam Ravi's name was linked to the singer-spiritual healer, Kenishaa Francis. She was targeted and tagged as the reason for Jayam Ravi and Aarti's split. Earlier, Jayam Ravi reacted to all of these rumours and now Kenishaa reacted to the same.
Talking to DT Next, Kenishaa Francis revealed that she met Jayam Ravi during the launch of her song, Yaar Solvaaro. The singer further added that during their first meeting, they had limited interaction, and after the same, the actor reached out to her in June 2024. Talking about the same, Kenishaa remarked that Jayam Ravi reached out to her when he was emotionally and mentally bruised from his marriage. Kenishaa can be quoted as saying:

"He got in touch with me when he was mentally and emotionally bruised and battered from his marriage to Aarti. There are certain articles that say I am the reason behind his separation from his ex-wife."
In the same interview, Kenishaa Francis shared that she has been being targeted as a reason for Jayam Ravi and Aarti's separation, which is not at all true. She also remarked that Jayam Ravi contacted her only after he sent a divorce notice to Aarti, through mutual consent only. Kenishaa added that the actor only approached her because he didn't want anyone to know about this in Chennai. In Kenishaa's words:
"Those are false claims. He came to me only after he sent a notice for divorce by mutual consent through his lawyer. He approached me because he didn't want anyone in Chennai to know about this.”
Earlier, Kenishaa Francis took to her IG handle to share a clip of the article and made a humble request to leave her out of all these. She also slammed those who continued to talk about Jayam Ravi and Aarti's separation and told them to focus on themselves as it's about some other person's personal life.
Jayam Ravi's ex-wife, Aarti had managed the social media handles of the actor until he announced their separation. After the same, the actor requested Aarti to give him access, which she declined. But a few days ago, he got back the access, and it seemed like he wanted to cut all the ties with his ex-wife, as he instantly deleted all the photos with Aarti and their sons.

He also revealed that he moved out of his house, and shared the divorce news with his elder son as well.
