Khushi Kapoor, the younger daughter of Boney Kapoor and Sridevi, made her debut on OTT with The Archies, and now she is all set to make her theatrical debut with the movie, Loveyapa. In the movie, she will be seen next to Aamir Khan's son, Junaid Khan. On January 10, 2025, the trailer launch event was hosted. And it's pretty natural for any individual to want to be surrounded by her/his parents on the special day of their lives. For Khushi, it was a bit difficult, and she ended up being teary-eyed when she was asked about her mom, Sridevi, at the event.
Khushi Kapoor looked gorgeous as she slipped into a red-toned dress at the trailer launch event of Loveyapa. Well, during the segment, she was asked about her late mom and legendary actress, Sridevi. She was asked how her mom would feel to see her on the stage. Listening to the question, Khushi got teary-eyed, and it's beyond imaginable how she was feeling. She also refused to talk about the same, and mentioned that she felt emotional. Khushi Kapoor can be quoted as saying:
"I definitely feel emotional. I really don't want to talk about it."
It was on December 2023, when at the premiere night of The Archies, Khushi Kapoor left everyone stunned, by wearing a classy golden gown. The gown was glittery and came along with a body-hugging silhouette. She looked like an angel in the dress, and why not, as the dress belonged to none other than her mom, Sridevi. Well, wearing mom's dress on her special day was her daughter's ode to the legendary actress, and it was something that won everyone's hearts. For the unversed, Sridevi wore this dress on the IIFA 2013 red carpet.
Talking about the same in an interview with the Hindustan Times, Khushi Kapoor shared that she was in talks with her stylist about what she should be wearing for the premiere night. The gorgeousness was sure that she wanted to wear something of her mom's, be it a jewel or a dress. Khushi mentioned that she needed some extra support and wanted Sridevi to be with her in some way, thus, she went through her mom's old clothes and picked out the golden one.

While being on Koffee With Karan 8, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor talked about the impact of their mom's demise on them. Janhvi shared how, although Khushi is the younger one, she comforted her. She recalled how seeing her crying, Khushi just stopped and consoled her. Janhvi added that Khushi has a similarity with Sridevi, which is that they both are quiet in a way. On the other hand, Khushi added that she needed time to process whatever happened, and being the strong one, she had to hold it together.
