Khushi Kapoor-Junaid Khan's 'Loveyapa' Title Track Dropped, Netizen Says, 'Tauba Mood Kharab Kar...'

Khushi Kapoor and Junaid Khan-starrer, Loveyapa is all set to hit theatres on February 7, 2025. The film's title track, Loveyapa Ho Gaya, sung by Nakash Aziz and Madhubanti Bagchi, was released across social media platforms today, January 3, 2025. The song featuring a hint of quirkiness was likely supposed to drum anticipation for the film's release. However, it hasn't been receiving the best response from audiences. In fact, many even are calling it the 'first worst song of 2025.'

The makers of Loveyapa, starring Khushi Kapoor and Junaid Khan dropped the film's title tracks across social media platforms, like Instagram and YouTube. The video featured the lead actors and showcased the little details about modern love, such as the cute manner in which couples text each other. Quirky frames were also a big part of the video, giving it the aura of an early 2000s music video. The lively track was seemingly poking fun at the current dating scenes amongst youngsters, such as situationships. 

The filmmakers created quite a buzz by opting to release the film's title track before a trailer or even a teaser. The caption for the Instagram post sharing a snippet of the song read:

"#Loveyapa title track starring #JunaidKhan and #KhushiKapoor is here this is a perfect love song that will resonate with the Gen-Z youths! The love anthem of the year, Rolling! Love is in the air! Celebrate this Valentine's season with #Loveyapa, releasing in cinemas on 7th February 2025."

Lead actress, Khushi Kapoor also shared the title track on her Instagram handle in collaboration with director, Advait Chandan and production houses, Zee Music, AGS Entertainment, and Fuh Se Phantom. The caption for the same read:

"Babu Shona karte-karte ho gaya dimag ka Bhajiyapa? Well, this is the beginning of Loveyapa!"

Netizens are not impressed with Khushi Kapoor and Junaid Khan-starrer's title track

Khushi Kapoor and Junaid Khan's Loveyapa title track, albeit upbeat, seems to have left a lacklustre impression on netizens. Across various social media platforms, the target audience, Gen Z, is collectively cringing at the number and taking to the comment section to express their opinion. One user on Reddit penned, "Tauba tauba tauba sara mood kharab kar diya," while another commented, "They thought they did zor ka jhatka but sorry." Yet another user brought up Junaid's debut movie, Maharaj in their comment and wrote, "He looked so charming in maharaj, i was rooting so hard for him. the chemistry with sharvari was so cute. what happened.... how do you fumble so hard on your second movie."

Loveyapa is set to be a quirky rom-com with Khushi Kapoor and Junaid Khan in the lead roles. The film, directed by Advait Chandan, is a remake of the 2022 Tamil release, Love Today. Khushi and Junaid will reprise the much-in-love characters of Pradeep Ranganathan and Ivana in the original release. Loveyapa is set to be a lighthearted drama focusing on the chaos that unfolds when a couple exchanges their phones for a day to test their relationship. Reportedly, the production was also closely overseen by Bollywood actor and Junaid Khan's father, Aamir Khan.
