It was during an appearance on Neha Dhupia's chat show, that Khushi Kapoor was asked to choose between superstar, Shah Rukh Khan's son, Aryan Khan, Ananya Panday’s cousin, Ahaan Panday and Javed Jaffrey’s son, Meezaan, as with whom she wants to be paired opposite in her debut film. We were baffled by Khushi's response when she had chosen Ahaan Panday as her co-star in her debut film. She had explained that since she has seen Ahaan's acting out of the three, so he seems like the safest option for her debut. Playing smart! Well, after Janhvi Kapoor stealing our hearts with her enchanting smile, we're eagerly waiting for her younger sister, Khushi Kapoor's debut in Bollywood.
While we're on the subject of Khusi Kapoor's Bollywood debut, did you know that Khushi was bullied for not looking like her mom, Sridevi? In her very own 'quarantine tape' that Khushi had shared on her Instagram handle, she had talked about how people used to make fun of her for not looking like her star mom, Sridevi or sister, Janhvi. She had said, "People still s**t on me. I’m kind of shy and awkward. Obviously, sometimes, the hate gets to you, especially being so young. I just want people to know I am a real person. I didn’t really know how to handle it, so my self-esteem issues and insecurities stem from that. As a child, it affected the way I saw my parents. I didn’t look like my mom and I didn’t look like my sister, so sometimes, people would point that out and make fun of me. I wasn’t the healthiest about it at some point and it affected the way I would eat and the way I would dress." For the uninitiated, Khushi Kapoor had faced a lot of body-shaming when she was merely 16-year-old. But the youngest diva of Kapoor clan had made sure to give back to her haters in style. She had penned a long note which had proved that she is one strong girl and no one can mess with her. Excerpts of her note could be read as "I post my pictures because I feel good and confident. I put out these pictures not because I want to show off or try to be anyone or anything else. I have my own sense of style and my own way to think and me putting out a picture that's accessible to so many people is taken more of an opportunity to judge me or my looks, clothes or anything else. I put something out there because it's something I feel good about, everyone is entitled to have their own opinion but putting someone else down because of it is not making you any better of a person."
