It was soon followed by Hardik enquiring about the meaning of the term ‘crush’. Once again the host took the lead to give the necessary gyaan and said, “A crush is higher than attraction, you like someone enough to constantly think of that person and you want to talk to them and be with them. You go a little weak in the knees.” To which Hardik admitted that it was only recently that he discovered the difference among the dating jargons like “seeing someone”, “dating someone” and “being in a relationship". For those who don’t know, Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora’s dating rumours started making rounds when they first attended the Lakme Fashion Week 2018 together. The media mills were sure that they will soon make it official but it never happened. From holding hands on the sets to taking a mini birthday trip, the two kept dropping hints for us to decode.
Recently, on December 31, 2018, we spotted Arjun and Malaika together celebrating the New Year’s Eve at his uncle, Sanjay Kapoor’s residence. Sanjay took to Instagram to share the family picture with Malaika, Arjun, Maheep and Karan Johar, captioning it, “Family,” followed by a heart emoji. In an earlier interview, Malaika had refuted any such rumour and said, “Arjun is a very good friend of mine. But people give a very different meaning to it, which isn't true.” The Namaste England actor had shared once that his only serious relationship was with Salman Khan’s sister Arpita Khan. In an interview with Times of India, he talked about his emotions when he revealed about his relationship with his sister, he said “I was scared of Salman bhai and went and told him and the entire family as I wanted them to know from me first. They were very kind about it. He was taken aback, but he respects people and relationships. In fact, he was partial in that relationship where he would always take my side.”
Meanwhile, on Neha Dhupia’s radio chat show, No Filter Neha Season 3, when Anil Kapoor was asked about his nephew, Arjun Kapoor’s budding relationship with Malaika Arora, he had stated, “I know him very well. Whatever makes him happy, makes me happy. I don’t want to comment on anything as that’s personal... whatever he does. We all family members have believed that whatever makes the other person happy makes us happy.” (Don't Miss: Abhishek Bachchan Shares A Super-Adorable Picture With His Little Star Aaradhya Bachchan)
Later, when Arjun was asked about his marriage plans, he stated, “Abhi chhokra jawaan hua hai (laughs). Right now, I am not in the frame of mind to even consider marriage. I am very happy seeing my near-and-dear ones after marriage. I think it will still take me two-three years [to think of marriage]. You need to be in the right frame of mind. Just because others are doing it, you can’t do the same. Both my cousins were clear that they wanted to settle down. They worked on their relationships long enough to feel that. So, it made complete sense to them [to get hitched].”
Well, we can't wait to watch today's Koffee episode!
