Virat Kohli and his wife, Anushka Sharma, never miss a chance to shed pure couple goals with their PDA moments during public appearances. From Anushka being Virat's biggest cheerleader whenever she used to be present during his matches in the stands to the cricketer ensuring to give the first call to his wife soon after getting some time off his busy schedule, the two of them are simply an inspiration to many couples.
Anushka and Virat have also turned out to be the strongest support systems for their close friends. The same was once revealed by Indian cricketer, KL Rahul during the latter's conversation on the talk show, Open House with Renil. In the interview, KL Rahul revisited the time when he made his Test debut in 2014 against Australia at the Melbourne cricket field. However, his debut was underwhelming, and KL Rahul was going through a bad period at that time. Thus, KL Rahul revealed how Anushka and Virat played a role in his life at that time and shared:

"Both of them (Anushka and Virat) has been very good to me and I have a great story to tell you. She could see that I was down and dejected (with personal performance) while my thoughts were all over."

Further, in the same conversation, KL Rahul mentioned that Anushka was present at that time when the Indian cricket team was playing in a foreign land. Notably, it was when Anushka and Virat hadn't made their relationship official. Thus, watching KL Rahul's performance, she came to his room and tried her best to motivate him. Anushka ensured that he was not alone and even took him on her date with Virat. KL Rahul stated:
“I third wheeled on one of the dinner dates. Both Virat and Anushka shared their stories describing moments when they had endured failure in their careers. That made me feel like I wasn't the only one who ruined his first impression.”
Undoubtedly, we can understand how Anushka and Virat encouraged him to its fullest and made him understand that failures are part and parcel of everyone's life. Not only that, the cricketer shared how Anushka and Virat took him out every time with them one week before his next game and encouraged him to stay strong. KL Rahul thus, thanked Anushka and Virat for helping him so much at that time and mentioned:
“It was nice of Anushka to do it as I didn't know how she could understand what I was going through. We still stay in touch and exchange a few messages, although Anushka's are about my dog mostly.”
