The grand wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant has been a major topic of discussion on social media. One of the biggest highlights of the wedding was Radhika Merchant's hand-painted lehenga, which she wore on her first evening as Mrs. Radhika Ambani. The newlywed bride's lehenga for her Shubh Aashirwad ceremony was hand-painted by a famous Indian artist, Jayasri Burman. She is a popular Indian painter and sculptor known for using a blend of folk art and classic art forms to create some of the finest pieces of art.
Radhika Merchant wore multiple gorgeous and memorable looks as the bride. But her hand-painted lehenga stole our breath away. It was made in a collaboration with the designer duo, Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla, who designed several other looks for the bride. The hand-painted pink-hued lehenga was a wonderful fusion of fashion and fine art. The lehenga featured 12 hand-painted panels. The design included three important elements of mythical aesthetic, human figures symbolising the happy couple and fauna to represent Anant's love for animals.
