Korean Actress, Han Ji Won's 'Cow' Copy Of The Iconic 'Majnu Bhai' Painting Got Sold For 4.16 Lakhs

Han Ji Won is one of the leading actresses of the South Korean entertainment industry. She has been a part of several commercially and critically acclaimed Korean dramas, which include Damo, Hwang Jini, Empress Ki, Something Happened in Bali, Secret Garden, The King 2 Hearts and The Hospital Ship. Besides her actorial endeavours, Han Ji Won's paintings have garnered much attention.

In April 2021, Han Ji Won debuted as an artist and participated as an abstract artist at the Cheongdam Showroom Atelier exhibition. Her art collection consisted of three abstract paintings, which were titled as 'Super Cow'. In 2021, only one of the three art pieces was sold, but now it is being reported that another one of the paintings was sold.

Han Ji Won's 'super cow' paints share a strong resemblance to 'Majnu Bhai's horse painting from the movie, Welcome

Don't we all remember the iconic painting from the 2007 movie, Welcome? The painting had all of us in laughing splits, especially when the character of 'Majnu Bhai' took immense pride in the child-like drawing of a horse. The scene has finally come to life as Han Ji Won drew and showcased a similar 'super cow' painting. Han Ji Won explained her cow artistry was meant to:

"Express the characteristics of cattle with bright and intense colours and lines. Put positive energy in the cows with the hope that the world will become healthy soon."

Han Ji Won's art was hung in an art gallery in 2021, but recently, reports have emerged that another one of her 'super cow' paintings was sold. As per reports from media portal, 8days, Han Ji Won's art was sold for a whooping KRW 5 million, which accounts for USD 5 thousand and INR 4.16 lakh.

Han Ji Won is soaring high after her big win as the Top Excellence Awardee at the KOCOWA TV KBS drama awards. However, it has also come to our attention that the Damo actress will soon appear in a new drama titled Murder Case of a Visiting Tutor in J Apartment. The title is yet to be confirmed, but the drama casting is already under work.
