Bigg Boss OTT 3 grand finale took place on August 2, 2024, with Sana Makbul taking the winning trophy home. Meanwhile, Naezy was the first runner-up of the show, and the other three finalists were Kritika Malik, Ranvir Shorey, and Sai Ketan Rao. Kritika, who participated in the show with her husband, Armaan Malik, and his first wife, Payal Malik, received a lot of flak for sabotaging her best friend's marriage.
After the finale, Kritika Malik opened up about her stint on the show and addressed the trolling she received. In an interview with News18 Showsha, when Kritika was asked about being called an undeserving finalist, she said that she tried to escape nominations as a part of her strategy. In her words:

“You had the right to nominate me in the Bigg Boss house. You can nominate the non-deserving contestant. This happens twice a week. If I wasn’t deserving, you should have nominated me. You did not nominate me and I reached the finale. This was my strategy and you were caught in it."

Kritika, Armaan and Payal were often accused of promoting polygamy during their Bigg Boss stint. However, now, in the interview, Kritika called her marriage to Armaan a mistake and urged everyone not to marry twice. She added that she does not support polygamy and said:
“Several questions were raised. You guys are also right. This is not something one expects. I am ready for the questions. But I have always said that I do not support polygamy. We made a mistake by marrying twice, so please don’t do this. Nobody should marry twice. We do not support polygamy."
Kritika also reacted to Payal Malik’s divorce announcement from Armaan and shared that she felt helpless when she got to know about it. She could not contact anyone from her family so she was so hurt that she broke down into tears. Talking about the same, Kritika said:
“In this house, you cannot contact anyone from your family. In this situation, somebody tells you something shocking. Like, you guys mentioned about Payal’s decision to divorce Armaan. It hurt me. I broke down emotionally. I was worried if everything was okay outside or not. I was broken because of this."

Kritika Malik also revealed her first conversation with Payal Malik after coming out of the Bigg Boss house and said that she asked her if she was okay. She added that once she found out that Payal was fine, nothing else mattered to her. Kritika concluded:
“When I came outside, I asked Payal if she was okay. She said, ‘yes’. Nothing else matters. If she is fine, I am also fine."
