Kritika Malik Shares Her Reaction Upon Learning Payal Malik's Divorce Announcement, 'My Heart...'

Bigg Boss OTT 3, hosted by Anil Kapoor, concluded on August 2, 2024, with Sana Makbul emerging as the season's winner. During the show's 42-day run, a few names continued to make headlines, including the popular YouTuber, Armaan Malik and his two wives, Payal Malik and Kritika Malik. For the uninitiated, the latter finished the game in fifth position.

Kritika Malik shares she broke down after learning about Payal Malik's divorce announcement

After the winner was announced, the finalists were interviewed by the media, and Kritika was among them. During an interaction, Armaan's second wife talked about Payal's shocking decision to end her marriage with the YouTuber. Kritika said that she broke down upon hearing such news. She was quoted as saying:

"I did not believe Payal's statement because I was inside the Bigg Boss house for 40 days, and all of a sudden when someone tells you this piece of information about Payal announcing her divorce… it was so shocking to me that it led to my breakdown for two days. I was emotionally down and was trying to figure things out by myself. I was trying to make my heart realise that this might be true or even false."

In the same interaction, Kritika mentioned that she just wanted to come out and talk with Payal about the same. Armaan's second wife shared that the minute she was evicted from the BB house, the first she did was ask Payal if she was doing good. Revealing that the latter nodded in a yes, Kritika added:

"I wanted to come out and talk to Payal directly. So when I came out of the Bigg Boss house, the first thing I did was to ask Payal on the stage at the finale if she was okay and she said yes. That's all. The rest of the discussion will happen later."

The reports regarding Armaan and Payal's divorce surfaced in the media when the latter took to her daily vlogs to share that she would be divorcing her husband to end the immense backlash on their polygamous marriage once and for all. In the video, Payal expressed her frustration over the continuous hate the family has received ever since they decided to take part in BB OTT 3.

While Payal got eliminated from the show in the first week, Armaan and Kritika fought till the end. During a media interaction inside the BB house, the couple was informed about Payal's decision to divorce Armaan. The YouTuber then said that if Payal wanted a divorce, he would support her, but before that, he wanted to figure out what happened. Meanwhile, just a day after this, Payal retracted her statement and said she won't be divorcing Armaan.
