Armaan Malik has garnered much attention and criticism as he entered the controversial reality show, Bigg Boss OTT 3 with his two wives, Kritika Malik and Payal Malik. The trio practise polygamy and have been living together as a family for years and even have four kids together. Many Indians do not accept this living condition, and a lot of celebrities have criticised the family for promoting polygamy. Tehelka's wife, Deepika Arya, was one such person who bashed the family.
Bigg Boss 17's contestant, Tehelka's wife, Deepika Arya, took to her Instagram and shared a video critiquing Arman Malik for marrying two women. She did not speak ill about Kritika but questioned the family's integrity and even declared that Payal had no other option but to accept the situation as she had a child.

Deepika slammed Arman and asked people not to normalise this practice. She even added that if a woman came on the show with two husbands, people would have called her names, but everything is justified for a man, and many people are getting entertained by this. She even questioned the BB maker's decision to bring in such a controversial trio on the show and rebuked them for not thinking of what impact this might have on society.
No sooner had Deepika shared the video than Kritika's mom shared a video on her YouTube channel and bashed the former for spewing hate against her family. She added that if Deepika had so many issues with the Malik family, then why was she a part of their baby shower celebration?

Kritika's mother added that Deepika had known the Malik family for years and was a part of Kritika and Payal's baby shower, wherein she danced her heart out and even played dhol. She alleged that Deepika is doing all these things to gain views, which is cheap publicity at its peak. If Deepika was so concerned about Armaan's wrongdoings, then she should have told him that to his face, but she decided to make the issue public just for views.
