Celebrity kids are the worst victims of the pap culture as they are too naïve to understand what is happening around them. Aaradhya Bachchan, Inaaya Naumi Kemmu, Taimur Ali Khan, Yash and Roohi Johar, AbRam Khan, Misha and Zain Kapoor are a few celebrity kids, who are constantly papped and with time they are so accustomed to it that they start responding to them. Many a time, celebrities have raised their concern over the same and the latest to join the bandwagon of anxious parents is none other than Kunal Kemmu.
In an interview with the Bombay Times, Kunal has spoken about how he is extremely concerned about the pap culture. Quoting two paparazzi incidents with his daughter, Inaaya Naumi Kemmu and his nephew, Taimur Ali Khan which shocked him, Kunal stated, “The paparazzi culture is quite new for these kids. Initially, I did not know how to react, but over time we have learnt to co-exist. There is no point in hiding from the paps because we know that they are going to be there. I am happy that we are in a place where they are listening to us.” However, two incidents worried Kunal as he recalled, “Once, some photographers had clicked Taimur and Inaaya’s pictures by using their zoom lenses. I was shocked and felt like this was a major invasion of privacy, which shouldn't happen. I also remember a time when I was speaking to someone, and Inaaya walked off to wave to a photographer and wish them goodbye.”
In 2018, Inaaya Naumi Kemmu was snapped with her mommy, Soha Ali Khan on their evening stroll out in the city. While the little one had looked like a cotton ball in a red and grey tracksuit, Soha had kept it casual in a black polka-dotted shirt, which she had paired with red pants. Inaaya had looked lovely wrapped in her mommy’s arms. Soha had requested the paparazzi and media persons to not use flashlights as it bothers Inaaya and she had even commented that they will understand this only when they have children. In an interview with Pinkvilla, Kareena had revealed her concern over Taimur being photographed wherever he goes. She had retorted that it makes her really worried that little Tim is followed by the media and she had even raised her concern over the same. She had further revealed that it has affected him and had stated, "Of course (it affects them). Even if we want to take pictures, Taimur sometimes says 'No photos'. He has learnt to say that. He's constantly being watched and he realises he's being clicked now. This culture has been there for a while now and nobody is asking anyone not to do their job. But we are just asking for a little space because they are children and we want them to grow up in an environment which is safe and secure, where they can be the way they want to be."

In an interview with the Bombay Times, Saif Ali Khan had opened up about the kind of attention Taimur gets from the paparazzi. Talking about whether the paparazzi culture has any negative impact on Taimur, Saif had said, “I would love it if Taimur could grow up just as a normal kid and be allowed to… Look, like you said we are really privileged and nobody is really complaining. I love the press, in fact, the press has been very kind to move away from our house; they used to be stationed right opposite here. Yes, they do give him attention. Luckily, he seems to be very sweet and normal, and he has not gotten affected in some strange way by it." He had also added that he would be really happy if his son doesn’t get any attention and is treated as a normal child.
