Influencer-turned-actress, Kusha Kapila was last seen in the film, Thank You For Coming. Apart from this, she also appeared in a few TV shows and films, including Case Toh Banta Hai and Masaba And Masaba, among others. However, in the year 2023, Kusha also faced a huge emotional turmoil in her personal life. It was in June 2023, when she left everyone shocked with her separation announcement from Zorawar Ahluwalia. Following this, she had to face huge trolls and online hate. Now, she opened up about her feelings at that time and how Zorawar had supported her.
For the unversed, Kusha and Zorawar tied the knot in 2017 after four years of knowing each other. Although they never showed off their personal life, they often posted interesting content on social media. Her millions of fans loved that content extremely, and the netizens were often seen rooting for Kusha and Zorawar's bond. But as some relationships are not meant to be, they announced their separation. In a conversation with Lallantop, Kusha mentioned how she was scared to announce the same and was going through emotional turmoil at that time.

Kusha mentioned that although she and Zorawar made the public announcement, that phase was an extremely emotional and private moment for their family. The influencer-turned-actress also said that she had no plans of announcing her separation. Elaborating on those circumstances that led to the public announcement, she mentioned how a publication had approached her with a picture of legal documentation regarding the same. Thus, they were forced to announce the same.
However, Kusha felt quite scared at that time. Thus, she had called her ex-husband, Zorawar and many others as she could to help her out of the situation. At that time, he assured them not to feel pressured. Moreover, Zorawar also mentioned that the public announcement would be made only when she found it to be the right time. Thus, further describing her feelings of fear and uncertainty during that time, Kusha mentioned how she finally found peace in her life and said:
"I was scared that a new news cycle would be built on this. I remember calling Zorawar and he told me not to feel pressured to do this. He said, 'We will do this when you want to.' I was so scared that day that I could not even write what we had shared on social media. The statement had my dog Maya's name and people thought that I was a mother. I reached out to everyone I could for help as to what should I do as the news cycle got really big and I became a big villain. After that statement, I could actually find peace and calm in my life.”

Taking to her IG handle in June 2023, Kusha shared picture messages to announce from Zorawar. Sharing the statement, Kusha revealed that she and her ex-husband wanted different things in their lives, and thus, they decided to part ways. Kusha accepted that the love and life she shared with Zorawar meant a lot. However, although they tried their best to sort things out, they couldn't anymore.

Kusha called her divorce heartbreaking for them and their families. She added that it would take a lot of time to heal from this pain, but their current focus is to move on with love and respect. The content creator added that they will continue co-parenting their furbaby, Maya.
