Kusha Kapila Says It Was Her Mother, Who Faced 'Opinions' After Her Divorce: 'Vo Mandir Jaati Hai..'

Kusha Kapila's life has not been a bed of roses. From working hard to establish herself as an influencer to now shifting her base to acting, Kusha is a perfect example of a modern Indian woman who knows the sky is the limit for her. However, being ambitious as a woman comes with a lot of tags and trolling, and Kusha faced it a lot. Despite this, Kusha always focused on the positive aspects of life, but for the first time, she talked about how her mother had to face a lot of opinions after she decided to divorce Zorawar Singh Ahluwalia.

Kusha Kapila talked about her divorce and how her mother had to face a lot of opinions 

Recently, in an interview with Fever FM, Kusha spoke about her life after divorcing Zorwar. The actress shared how society is unkind to women during their tough times. Kusha also highlighted the fact that, in her case, it was her mother who had to go through a lot. She was the one who faced all the relatives and aunties in the park, while the actress had completely shut herself from outside opinion. She said:

“Unkinder to women, that society is anyway so I think that is something my mother had to go through. I completely shut myself to opinions or anything. I didn’t have the bandwidth for it. So I am sure my mother can speak very clearly about it."

Kusha stated that her mother has her own life, which was affected because of the actress' divorce. She had to go to the temple or park and face people's opinions, and sadly, it is how the world works in general. She stated that we might be progressing, but some things will remain the same. She said:

"She had to speak to relatives and society. She has her own life. Vo mandir jaati hai ya fir vo park jaati hai, toh unki vo apni social community hai jaha par I am sure she had to face opinions and that is how the world works pretty much. This is the reality, this is the truth of where we live in and the times we live in. As much progress is happening, and we hope for it to happen, some things pretty much remain the same."

When Kusha Kapila shared a shocking detail of her separation from Zorawar

During the India Today Conclave, Kusha revealed that she was bullied into revealing the news of her separation from Zorawar Ahluwalia untimely. However, the influencer-turned-actress shared that she was glad that she could share the news on her own terms. Kusha added that she doesn't want anyone else to reveal details about her life in the public.

For those who don't know, Kusha and Zorawar tied the knot in 2017, after four years of knowing each other. The ex-couple would often make content together. However, they never really showed off their personal life on social media. Interestingly, Kusha and Zorwar had met each other at a wedding. He had offered her a drink at an open bar, and she brushed off him as she found it silly.
