It was only after their engagement that Sriram had watched a few of her films and had gotten to know how popular Madhuri Dixit is. Madhuri had left Mumbai and had shifted to the US with her husband after marriage to create her ‘happily ever after’ with husband and two kids, Arin Nene and Ryan Nene, away from the media glare. After a decade, Madhuri and Dr Nene had shifted to India with Arin and Ryan. Scroll down to know what is Arin and Ryan's take on their mommy's movies!
In a conversation with Pinkvilla, Madhuri opened up about her children's stance on her movies and what do they think about them. She said, "Not that they have watched a lot of my films now, they haven't, but if I do something, and if they have to criticise it, they do that. They comment on it, tell me if it is cheesy, if it is not right. Even with Candle, my son suggested a few changes, and they liked the emotion in the song. They really liked the song and they said it is looking good. They gave their expert advice. Nowadays the kids know so much, they are so well-read. They have so much information; they talk to me about scripts as well. Sometimes I tell them that even I don't think so much about the script as much as they do. So, it is really nice."
Recently, Madhuri tried her hands in singing and launched her first song, Single Candle which features Madhuri in a totally different avatar wherein, she is urging people to calmly hang in there while hoping for good days. In an interaction with Pinkvilla, Madhuri had talked about about how difficult it was to shoot indoors for the song, what challenges she had faced while shooting and how her husband, Dr Nene had helped her in the same. She had said, "But the biggest challenge for us was to shoot this indoors. We shot it at home. My husband who has a different profession found out how to do lighting and everything and helped me with the shoot. I have to thank my team for helping us get this together. She had also revealed that even her children had pitched in some suggestions while the song was in making."
