One of the most adored couples of Tollywood, Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar enjoys a huge fanbase. The much-in-love couple had tied the knot in 2005 and had embraced parenthood for the first time with their son, Gautam, in 2006. Later, in 2012, Mahesh and Namrata were blessed with an angel, Sitara. The family of four is often spotted spending quality time with each other, and glimpses from the same are found on Mahesh and Namrata's respective social media handles.
Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar are doting parents and never miss a chance to shower love on their kids. For instance, on July 20, 2021, their daughter, Sitara had turned nine, and her loving daddy had taken to his IG handle and had shared a beautiful video of his daughter. In the video, he had featured glimpses from Sitara's photoshoot and had penned adorable wishes for her. Mahesh's caption could be read as:

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Mahesh Babu's wife, Namrata Shirodkar, opened up about their daughter, Sitara's popularity as a celeb kid. Namrata mentioned that she encourages her daughter to do what she loves to do, along with some set of rules and limitations. While noting that she and her hubby love to guide their little daughter, she said:
"I don't think we have any fears with her. We encourage her to do what she likes and make her happy. Obviously with a certain set of rules and limitations also because she is just nine and sometimes, the kids don't know they need to be guided. I think that's what I and Mahesh are for, to guide her to do the right things at the right time and place. We make sure, she is well within her limits, what to do and what not to do."
For the unversed, Sitara had made her silver screen debut with the song, Penny in her father, actor Mahesh Babu's upcoming film, Sarkaru Vaari Paata. During the same conversation, when Namrata was asked about her daughter, she mentioned that Sitara is a sensible child. The doting mommy also said that till now, she and her husband have maintained a balance in Sitara's life and added:
"She understands this very beautifully. I find her a very sensible kid, she is very warm, loving, and considerate. She is very focused and sensible. She does understand what she should do, can't do and shouldn't do. I think, so far we have found a good balance with her and that really works with us as parents and her as a child."

In the same conversation, Namrata was also asked whether she is a strict mom or not. To this, she confirmed about being strict and added that her husband, Mahesh is on the softer side for both of their kids, Gautam and Sitara. Namrata Shirodkar concluded:
"Namrata is a strict mom. She has to be strict but they equally have good times with me also. And they know, certain things have to be done in a certain way with me. With Mahesh, there are no lines but with me, it's a lined paged book. But I guess, between the two of us, we play good cop, bad cop and I'm pretty much the bad cop."
On Sitara's ninth birthday, her mommy, Namrata Shirodkar, had also shared an adorable video featuring all the childhood memories of Sitara, which was too cute for words. Along with the video, Namrata had written:
"9 years today! Watching you grow has been my greatest joy. Aim for the sky always! Love and more love to you. Happy birthday Sitara!! @sitaraghattamaneni… Many blessings #SitaraTurns9." Namrata also shared a picture of Sitara with a number 9 foil balloon and captioned it as "Another year older and awesome as ever! Love you to bits."
Well, we loved Mahesh and Namrata's style of handling their kids! What do you think?
